Thank you! I'm happy to help, but please bear in mind I'm by no means a "pro". 😊 This is what worked for me so far :
I'm using this growlight from Amazon and have the lights around 6-7 inches above the succulent. It comes with a timer, so I have it set to be on 12 hours a day (at 80% strength/light). I'm not sure how it would compare to the current light that you have, but I'd be happy to answer any other questions.

As for watering, I've only watered it once since getting it the first week of July. I try to wait until the soil is bone dry, and then give it a good soak. Sometimes I forget and only remember to water my succulents when I see the leaves starting to pucker. Aside from soil dryness, that's another good indicator that they're ready for some water.
I hope this helps 😊 I'm still learning on how to give them the best care, and sometimes it's a bit of trial and error.
You can get a grow light for inside. I like this one. It clips to a table. Not too big, not too small. I had mine set on a timer so it only was on at night. Worked really well.
Price went up to $27 overnight evidently. I paid $19.99 last night! I chose this one because it has a clamp to clip onto my table, 60W vs most others with 30W, and 3 wand arms that will work perfectly for me because I use a corner area for my plants. This will fan out perfectly. Also has timers and color modes. I don’t know much about the different light modes, but plan on doin some in depth research and experimentation!
Hi, thank you 😊 I use this growlight:

It's nothing fancy, but I do like the timer and the "bendy arms" for the lights, so that I can easily adjust them. I have both the red & blue lights on for 12 hours a day, and the lights are only a couple of inches away from the succulents. I read somewhere that you're supposed to slowly increase the sunlight your plants get, to avoid sunburning. But honestly I was too impatient for that and just went for it 😅 So far they've been doing good. I maybe water them once or twice a month? I can't say for sure, because I do it so infrequently. I wait until the soil is completely dry, and then water until water starts dripping from the drainage hole. I saw a video on YouTube that describes this as the "Soak & dry method". As for fertilizer, I don't think I've fertilized my Lola since I got it back in July, but I might do it next summer (if I remember)
TLDR I've learned the hard way that what works best for me is plenty of light for 12 hours a day (or else they start stretching) and water when the soil is completely dry.
I hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions 😊
Found on Amazon! It’s a triple-goosenecked light with red and blue LEDs, and I got one with a timer. Everything seems to be happy but it’s taken some time to figure every plant’s schedule.
Edit: this one!
Also edit: there’s many versions, but the size and functionality of this one fit my needs best
Yeah, small scale like that, put $15-20 into something like this, or a simple desk/clip lamp with cfl would work.

Will do the job for starting seedlings for an outdoor grow, make sure to slowly harden them to sunlight during transition.
Pick up a cheap grow light like this one from Amazon (I have a similar one) and you can grow just about any small plant. The light can be a bit obnoxious, but these have a built in timer so you just set it to light up while you're gone or sleeping. I successfully grew herbs in my dark, dreary, north facing apartment using one of these lights. African violets grow great under grow lights, bloom incessantly, don't require much water (they rather enjoy drying out between waterings), and they stay really compact. After that, I would recommend a zz plantor pothos or small peace lily as they will all do well under a grow light. Good luck, and know that I completely understand the urge to shut out the world. Plants make good companions.

I have two grow lights that I no longer need (upgraded to other fixtures). Purchased then from list Amazon listing https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PXP7DW5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
Open to trades of unusual succulents (gasteria, agave & aloes preferred), peperomia or sansevieria.
Primarily want them out of my house and to a good home.
As I said in the post above, I didn't put much thought into this as I started. I have a bunch of seeds that I picked out of the weed I've smoked over the past year or so, I germinated like 15 of them.. Threw them all into jiffy pods, once they sprouted I put them under lights.. I don't know what any of them are but i was going to take the best of the plants out of the group and maybe do two to four of them. I have a whole room dedicated to mushrooms so I have a good amount of space to use.
So I should stay away from the purple boys? This is my current LED light
this is the light I'm thinking about getting
Do you think I'd be alright with that?
This- we have a five foot tall advocaodo tree at wk under an led lamp from Amazon.
What sort of grow light is it? Is it one of those really gimmicky ones on Amazon?
As someone that kept reef aquariums for years, LEDs do not typically have the penetrative power of other lights. The light gets weaker faster as the distance increases compared to other kinds of lights. I'd definitely suggest putting it right over the top of your plants for best results.
Of course, it looks like you have a fair amount of plants and the light might not be enough to cover them all if you do that. I've been using these bulbs with great success if you're not overly attached to the ones you have. I particularly like that you can stick them in your own light fixture and not have some awkward-looking thing in your space. I have them in some antique-looking task lamps that sit over the plants. Good luck!
I got a clip light from amazon. I love it. https://www.amazon.com/Upgraded-Dimmable-Spectrum-Adjustable-Gooseneck/dp/B07PXP7DW5
