Grow Light,GHodec Sunlight White... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081CVFJPQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I got this one for my indoor succulents about a month ago and I like it a lot so far! Not sure what kind of wattage an avocado tree needs but it might work
The plants are blocking your only source of natural light. You could relocate them and use an artificial grow light.

sorry for the wait, had to find it on amazon. this thread has a lot of great info for lightbulbs and grow lights, honestly I don’t remember exactly why I chose this one but it has been suiting my plants very well. When they get too much sun I move it away and when they need more I can bend it closer, and it has a timer
I have this one that I got off Amazon. It says it's 50w and 6000k. Does that seem like a reasonable light?
As of today I have put the seedlings much closer to the lights as initially I had them around 8-12 inches away and perhaps that was the problem.
For my houseplants, I just use a $20 clip LED light with two heads that I ordered from Amazon. Another cheap option is ordering some basic clamp lamps (like what you’d see attached to a reptile enclosure) and grow light bulbs. I use a couple of those for supplemental lighting on the plants further away from my other light.
If you’re looking to spend some money and get a real quality unit, look into Spider Farmer grow lights - I use a knock off version of these to grow my cannabis (legal state)
Yeah, mine are the little brother to those ***AMAZON LINK*** and replacing the 5v wall wart took care of my issue. I looked at the ad you linked and I can't see where it mentions how it is powered.
That’s what happened to mine a week after I got mine! I got these light clips and my caladiums have loved them! I usually water them when the soil seems dry, so usually every 4 days or so.
this is what I got it’s not super nice like it looks but it does the trick! I eventually plan to get nicer ones and some places like Lowe’s also just sell grow light lightbulbs that you could look into just buying a nice lamp to go with your space and put one in!
I turn them on during the day for my plants that are in north windows and like a little more additional light, and I keep them on for 12 hours so that they get ~3.5 additional hours of “sunlight”/ day after the sun sets. The light is on a timer, so it automatically comes on in the morning. I got this one
Also, if a section is dead, she should definitely cut it off! Leaving dead areas on it could encourage pests and cutting it off will encourage the plant to produce new growth. I have a bonsai ficus that I recently had to almost completely prune due to spider mites and it already has tons of new growth. Best of luck!
I just got some grow lights from Amazon which a friend recommended. They use them to grow herbs indoors. So far, so good.
This is the one I got ( because I didn't want pink or purple lights in my place): Grow Light,GHodec Sunlight White... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081CVFJPQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I really want to use the GE bulbs but can't find the right lamp. Mine says not to use anything but A bulbs. 🤷🏽♀️
There is a fantastic video on YouTube talking about what to look for in bulbs. You don't necessarily need something branded as a "grow light" (although those are fine too!) I use the bulbs she recommends - 1600 lumens and 6500 kelvin and my plants are thriving in otherwise lightless corners.
That being said, I also use grow lights that my plants seem to love. I also use these from Amazon.
sorry i took a while, here is the light that i have.

Thanks! It turned out perfect for our small apartment. Lights are clipped to top tier, which is a metal mesh, and twist-tied underneath to shine on middle tier.
I don't have any data other than personal experience.
This one is adjustable in light intensity with a timer, so you can use them for shade for your lower light plants. It can get kinda bright, but I've had brighter. You can also get it in purple and there are similar with more heads.

This one is also adjustable, and also has a timer but has the least brightest intensity and I end up using 2 bars of lights for one shelf unless the light is really close.

This set is my favorite, it appears to have the brightest light, but its not adjustable at all. I use this on most of my tropical plants, for those who love medium to bright indirect light. However, if a leaf touches the light itself, it can burn the leaf, I have had it happen before.

I just started using these, but I already like them. They're best at a distance of like 5-7 feet away because of light intensity and space covered. You can get a higher wattage if you want a brighter one.

Look into a lumen meter, it literally measures light.
Also, the light being purple literally does not matter to the plant, its just aesthetics. Just make sure to find something that isn't UV (skin damaging, can be too strong for most plants as well), and full spectrum (because plants do actually need all wavelengths).
Feel free to correct me if any of my information is wrong or misleading.
I've got one of these over it, powered on for 12 hours a day: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081CVFJPQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
No sign of pests that I've noticed. Ever since it started browning I've been giving it a spritz with this daily just to be safe: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YBGPH7H/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Found it! I use this light for my plants.
I bought this one for a family member a while back. He likes it but did mention he wishes it had more arms... https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B081CVFJPQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_V7A55H0PQ8ZW1H5K00WR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Sorry I wasn't clear, do *not* get a heat lamp. Instead, get:
1) A grow light. You can get a good LED one from Amazon for ~$25 bucks. I've used this one for years and it works great. It's pretty small, but I just garden for pleasure so it works fine. I fit ~10-15 seedlings under it at a time, which is plenty for me.
2) A heating *pad,* not a lamp. You just plug it in and it heats up. If you put small plugs on top, it'll warm the soil up to ~70-80 F, which is perfect to get most nightshades to germinate, including peppers. I have this set and swear by it.
I know it's a bit of an investment up-front, but paying a bit more for good tools that will last forever and work great is worth every penny! It makes germinating seeds a waiting game, not a guessing game, which is much more fun :)
i have this it works great!

I ended up buying 2 sets, I liked them so much.
I got them off of Amazon! They've helped my plants so much, and they're pretty affordable. You can find them here: lights!
