That's a great question! I successfully used the light linked below with my monstera albo cutting to grow its new leaf from an axillary bud. I eventually built an ikea greenhouse for this and other plants but it worked fantastic before I had my greenhouse and I still use it for plants in isolation. For my albo, I would manually turn it on and off because I find my higher light need plants want at least 14 hours a day of light. It's not a good option for a large plants or multiple plants, but for a single plant in a low light location these can be a fantastic option. I know someone who grew her begonia using a similar style of light in her cubicle office and the plant was super happy.

I find that people run into issues when they try to use these for large plants or don't place them close enough to the plants leaves or at an angle where the plant doesn't get much of the light.

Thanks so much! I got soil specifically for cacti and succulents so that should be good. The pot has a few drain holes at the bottom.

The soil was wet when I bought it so I'm assuming the shop watered it recently, so hopefully I don't need to worry about watering for a while. I really appreciate all the help!

If you want to, you can put a growlight above it? That gives you a lot of options. Something like this?

So for this terrarium, it's working great, I actually purchased:

And it worked great! I had to 3D Print a little clip for it to hold it to that bookcase. Whats great about this light is it has a timer in it, this terrarium's in our bedroom so I especially want it to go on / off at given times.
