I have this kind of grow light that has multiple dimmer settings and a timer...

I put it on the second lowest dimmer setting and set up the timer for 12h / day. It also gets good indirect sunlight the rest of the day. Is 12h too much? Using both the red and blue lights (I could use one or the other individually though - does it matter?)
I have something like this but with two arms and it’s not cutting it. If I move to the Phillips fluorescent bulb & clamp light as recommended in the comments, will I be alright? I’m getting a lot of etiolating and just want to prevent that
I'm not an expert on aquariums by any means, but I use this for my planted tank, and everything is growing just fine.
They're super flexible, can be set to 3/6/12 hour at varying intensities and spectrums.
They are by my windows but the way the buildings are around here and I have a tree right out side. I get very little direct light into my room but I can’t move them to a new window because we have a cat who likes to munch.
I got this one off Amazon. It’s worked really well for the seeds I started inside.

this is a great one! I love how I can adjust to light different plant sections. And the timer!
Okay, very good! I was worried that I killed them.

I'm new at this too. This light isn't extremely expensive. You got this, and these plants are cool enough that a little extra effort I think will pay off.
Cool, guess I’ll try again. Thanks for the info.
These are the lights I use.

Here's the lights I purchased. I bought them on Prime day, so they were a bit cheaper than they are now.
Amazon sells clip on grow lights or little lights to stand on a counter, if a window option doesn’t work for you. My windows either don’t allow enough light in or we don’t have space to put the plants where we do get decent light.
