This DIY grow tent has a few benefits. My aerogarden is in my small apartment so the light is intense at night. I’ll probably cutout one side of the box and add a mesh film similar to this one on Amazon. Then put the mesh side facing (but not touching) a wall and put a small fan on my plants to improve air circulation. It helps plants grow quicker. It also prevents bugs and cats from getting into my plants.

Have not tried it but looks like a good option. You could also DIY something with reflective material on the inside and and cardboard on outer.
