ALL of these are used in my setup, partly because I failed to keep up with the evolutions my system made. Do you need both types of hoses? Nah. If I could redo it I would probably cut the steel hoses, but it's worth noting how much heat they can reduce if you can cool them too. Mind the smaller items like Viton gaskets/o-rings and RTV sealants.
My setup with these items is scalable, with the biggest issue so far being keeping the fluid cool. The fans are cheap and only last for about 3 months of 24/7 usage. If I wanted to add more L3+'s, I would likely need to find a better heat exchanging solution. I have 7 L3+'s in here btw
