I got flamed and downvoted when I tried posting this before, but I will try again.
I got the new Rhinoshield bumper and REALLY like it with the exception that it slips easily out of my hand when trying to pull it out of my pocket.
I found this grip tape on Amazon and applied a thin strip of it along the "grip spots" on the bumper and now it is perfect. You cannot even tell that it is not built into the bumper. They should add one with extra grip.
Sadly, from what I’ve read the replacement panels have the same bad adhesive as the originals. This is the grip tape I bought if you’re interested. It’s held up for months with no issues. I will admit that cutting it to shape was a bit annoying, but I’m happy with the outcome. Good luck with whatever you try!
FWIW I never minded the trigger, especially after a few hundred rounds, and if you can spend a little time to customize it this stuff is pretty dope for grip.
Just some generic anti-slip grit safety tape that I had laying around. EDIT: Link died?
If you decide to try something like this, make sure it's pre-sealed, seal it yourself (super glue or spray clear coat works for this really well) or get something more rubbery like GT-5000 so that little flakes don't get on your mousepad.
I actually ended up with the g203. The g303 was good but it shot some wrist pains up my hand after a week of use. I can't explain it since it didn't hurt initially. Maybe it was just a slight difference in how I went a bit more claw grip that did it.
I really did like the the g303 because of the grip, and build of the mouse. The g203's side feel less grippy than the g303 so I got these to make it more sturdy on how I held it on the side
Still, both are pretty good but the g203 is more closer to how I held the g9x as I said earlier.
I like the rubberized texture, and it really does make a difference.
You can get this grip tape tape cheaper though and it works wonderfully - http://www.amazon.com/GT-5000-phones-cameras-knives-tools/dp/B00ATH0KEA
Only thing with that grip tape is you have to cut the pieces yourself and don't expect the full 100% coverage that a fitted Talon can offer. But a few nicely cut strips in the right spots has worked just as well for me as Talon's do.
I think I'm going to order some of this grip tape off amazon. Looks like it should work. I agree having to make modifications is annoying.
Get an x-acto knife (or scissors) and cut pieces of grip-tape to cover the buttons. I've done this for every phone case that my wife and I have had to date and it is amazing stuff. It basically never wears out and it's made of rubber, so it doesn't rip up your fingertips.
In fact, I might have to buy some and do this to mine.
Good luck, fellow Orbiter!
I purchased some Talon grips for a 27 a while back and saved the pattern. I used it to make the grip for my 43. I just had to cut down the size of the finger groove section.
hiya! I got the gun tape from amazon US. It took like 4-5 days to get to me in Northern Ireland. I ordered it here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ATH0KEA/
I'm not sure how it got here so fast :P
Just checked the internals; the mod is certainly feasible. Imgur album with extra info for anyone interested.
I'll be using this grip tape from amazon, unless anyone has better suggestions.
The Scimitar really does feel amazing though. I'm also looking forward to it being slightly thinner to grip and even slightly lighter in addition to the extra sense of security of having a sturdy side grip to press on.
Not sure how bad it is, but if it's not too bad you could use some grip tape and get creative and find a nice way of covering it up.

GT-5000 (3 Strips) Grip Tape for... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ATH0KEA?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It isn’t as grippy as skateboard grip tape. I like it there, but not sure if it helps much.
Tip for anyone trying to make their dpad less slippery, try some of this tape here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ATH0KEA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Works great
Yeah, I did. Got mine on Amazon.
Made a world of difference on my slippery code 4.
Thanks! It's GT5000 gun grip tape found it on Amazon, for me it's too slippery to be used on the sides. I've been thinking to try lizard skins or the Hotline Grips.

The one i use has no problem adhering. But there seem to be alot of different brands of grip tape (prolly just the same in the end). This is the stuff i use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ATH0KEA/ref=pe_385040_30332220_TE_3p_dp_1
I'm going to try some rubberized marine grade grip tape someone told me about. I imagine it's similar to this stuff.
Could try this, works for WMR controllers...
3-4. It just isn't very durable if it's constantly being touched or in contact with other surfaces. Try some of this stuff. Super durable and fairly cheap.

bought this for my finalmouse- going to try it out
this might help you out with your mouse too
Try grip tape or get a Visconti Homo Sapiens
While you're doing that, don't forget to use Amazon Smile! http://www.smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ATH0KEA
You could do the same with the amazon links as well
A while back in /r/pcmasterrace someone posted that they took something like this and cut it to fit their mouse.
Seems like a viable option.
They who? I found this tape on Amazon and there are no restrictions by shipping. I don't know about laws but it's a tape why there can be any restrictions? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ATH0KEA/
