I bought this hair stick on Amazon for this purpose. It’s essentially gel on a mascara-type wand that’s used to tame your baby hairs. I have lots of issues with baby hairs too and it works well for me. Just have to be careful not to use too much. You can comb through it a bit more with a clean mascara wand or comb if you accidentally put too much and want to separate the hairs from each other a bit again.

I have curly hair that isn't so much frizzy, but I have baby hairs that are the result of postpartum regrowth and it looks absolutely ridiculous when I do an updo.

Three suggestions: take a cute bandana, fold it so it's about an inch thick, and tie it around your head. Frames the face and looks cute.

Also, this product works wonders for my flyaways and gives a nice sleek look to an updo:

I use a hair finishing wand from Amazon for laying down edges and taming flyaways. I have errant hairs which like to go in the opposite direction so this helps.
