^ +1 for the Halo II Headband. It fits well under a helmet and does a great job at keeping sweat away from your eyes. I take mine off during breaks in the action and it dries very quickly. I don't ride without it.
Halo headbands have a little rubber piece that keeps excess sweat from dripping down your face. I have one of their hats too that I really like.
This works well in that it at least diverts sweat away from your face once it’s saturated. When not using this, I just keep a collection of 3-4 regular headbands on the handlebars and I’ll change them out during rides.
A straight-up headband works for me. I got this one - they have other sizes too, as in how much of your head is covered:

I wear it like the woman in the third pic- slightly over my ears and with the plastic band on my forehead. It’s dorky but it works so well. I also bring a towel.
There's also the HALO sweatband, more like a traditional headband but with a silicone "gutter"

I use it for gym when I'm boxing and I get zero drip in my eyes, and when I use it for airsoft I get zero moisture in the goggles
I use this headband. Keeps sweat out very well, especially with the rubber bit. (Note: apparently some sellers on that link are selling a cheap knock-off, buyer beware. The genuine article works very well.)
I just ordered this one which I think has potential. It doesn't rely on absorbing moisture to keep sweat out of your face, so even on those really sweaty runs (read: every single run I go on), it should still be useful. And it'll definitely dry more quickly than those terrycloth American Apparel nightmares. I'm going to take it out for a spin tomorrow night so I'll try to report back.
I am a fan of Halo II headbands

You probably are not going to find a headband that doesn't get soaked with your sweat if you sweat a lot. The key is having something that diverts the sweat out of your eyes, and also is easy to ring out. The Halo does both. It has a little rubbery band that sits on your brow and causes the sweat to run down the sides of your face rather than the middle.
It will eventually get loaded up with sweat and lose its effectiveness until you ring it out, at which point it's good to go again. On hot days I'll usually have to ring it out every 3 miles or so.
It's pretty light, so it doesn't leave you feeling hotter like some other bands I've tried.
i bought one of these on a recommendation here, but haven't got to use it due to injury. but anyway, that's what's come up before in discussion.
Halo headbands are pretty sweet. Amazon It has a silicone band across it to keep sweat from dripping down
I've been really happy with the Halo II headband. It's very thin so it fits under the helmet easily and has this rubbery bit to direct sweat away from my eyes.

I’ve never seen those, but I do have a Halo headband that I use and works great. Same concept, it has a silicone band that goes above your eyes to divert sweat away.
I am the same at least as far as sweat to the eyes goes. I was kind of kidding as far as performance goes though maybe not for color because we all know that black bandanas reduce mile times by 15 sec or more. Should probably start a thread on this. I use cotton but the larger 27" square get you more absorbency. They still get soaked too soon. You can wring out to decent effect whenever you need mid-run. Buffs and the like have no absorbency. Microfiber shop towels I mean to try. There a couple seemingly-gimmicky products out there like Gutr and [Halo](https://www.amazon.com/Halo-Headband-Sweatband-Pullover-Black/dp/B002JS64LU/] which I can't bring myself to try -- both use a plastic channel to deflect water out the sides like rain spouts.
Try the Halo it has a yellow band thingee that pushes sweat to the outside. Its been working for me and I live in Arizona.
I bought this. It's been amazing. I wash it out after use, wring it out, and hang it to dry. It's a godsent.
