I fully agree! Here ya go, I make my wife take this on dog walks because you never know what random dog will be off leash or behind a poorly maintained fence.

About two months ago me and my chi were chased by a loose pitbull. Luckily no one was hurt as we were able to escape. Though I honestly still feel a bit traumatized by the whole thing.

I haven't had to use it yet and hopefully never will, but I feel so much better that I will be able to protect my dog (and myself) if I ever need to.

It’s HALT dog repellent. I got mine on Amazon but i think they sell it on chewy too if you have that. HALT!

This is the dog repellent that the USPS uses. Contains 1% capsaicin concentrate.

My DSP gave us these dog maces? and well for scientific reasons let’s just say my neighbors dog wasn’t snarling and barking his head off afterwards 🤫
