Supposedly the Coleman tanks have a higher pressure but the flame adjuster knob works well on these stoves so it’s not really an issue so far
How about MSR whisperlite? Have you also considered buying a propane adapter and just use your normal canister stove? I’ve done this with my pocket rocket and that’s the setup I use when I go car camping. If the base is stable enough I don’t see why the stove wouldn’t be able to hold a skillet.
