I use this hamilton beach hand blender to froth up my bulletproof coffee. It makes this wonderful foam on the top that is just creamy and decadent. Works best in a large coffee cup with a flat bottom.

The key to cheap eating, like soups and stuff, is a good blender I've had that hand blender on my list for months, but after living in Spain and eating home made soups with every lunch, I've decided to buy it. It's happening.

I also recommend you get a couple of good knives
