I also use 2x? And cut them to size. The BTS pre press was such a good investment. I have 2x4 bags I'm finishing and 2x8 on deck.

Yep, I use this cylindrical mold to pre-press small jobs like this.

No prob! Pretty much any cylindrical pre-press mold will do. I use this one made by dabpress.

As for filter bags, there are a number of options. The Press Club is my go-to brand. Here's their amazon storefront. I find that 160 micron is perfect for bud, though some use 120 or even 90. For pressing kief or hash you'd want something more around 25-50 micron.

edit: One more tip, maybe grab a 300psi hand clamp by Irwin (or other similar brand) to really crank down on the pre-press mold. Makes a noticeable difference imo.
