Highly recommend buying bed risers and stuffing as much stuff under your bed as possible. Wall mount your TV if you can, rather than using a TV stand. This mount doesn't even require using your wall's studs. Don't ever utter the word knick-knacks again - get rid of them! Get rid of as much crap as possible. The more you minimize the more natural it feels.
How about a Hangman No Stud TV setup. Its like 30 small nails. I’ve installed 4 tvs with this setup, one was a 65” which is holding perfect for over a year now…more about weight (50lbs). Only stud you need is yourself big boy 🤓Hangman Products S-2040A No Stud TV Hanger Mount TVs... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FXPJJ0Y/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_glt_i_J3B5A1WS72NQ9BWFA9VF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Mounting the TV can be a bitch and also leave holes in the wall so I went with one of these
It isn’t able to move like a normal wall mount but is cheap and really easy to set up.
Anyone ever used no stud tv mounts. It seems like it's too good to be true. I want to mount a tv on a wall where plmbbing pipes are going through and this seems like a good solution. Thank you all in advance
My buddy has this one that uses these tiny nails but lots of them. It was the only kind he could use in the apartment he lives in. I was skeptical at first but after seeing it installed I think it works great. Not sure if it would work for your situation but here it is. Link to product.
You could mount the tv. I got a tv mount thats great for apartments requires no bolts in the wall and is only $20. I have it on my 32" and it works great. Easy install too. Just food for thought
This is a horrible idea. I used this product to mount without asking and it went completely unnoticed due to being in a basement but it worked well and it only required very small holes in the wall: https://www.amazon.com/Hangman-Products-S-2040A-Hanger-55-Inch/dp/B00FXPJJ0Y

Can I mount a 40" TV in my Nike dorm with something like hangman and then fill in the couple nail holes when I leave?
Well, unless... Has anyone used this Hangman "no-stud" tv mount? Would it actually be secure just on the drywall?
You could try this one.
