If the headset stand had a separate power cord to charge devices it may be worth it. I don't think this one does. I have a Cozoo headphone stand at work and an under desk version at home. They both have wall power cables so I can charge devices more quickly than I'd they were being charged from a USB port from a computer.

I have been using both for at least two years and have been working great.
