hello raspberry pi (u don’t need a raspberry pi tho) This is the best introductory python book I ever used. The book motivates you by showing how cool the things you made are. One of the lessons was a text-story adventure and I was so proud of what I made! Definitely 10/10
crash course python If your the person who gets annoyed by the “programming for kids”, this is the best start. I had a break from learning and this got me really good review. I enjoyed it a lot.
python for kids This was my first one. Very good introduction that I think appeals to all ages. They explain thoroughly and well.
Teach ur kids to code Like the python for kids. Just more kid friendly. For me it’s extra review.
learning python This one should be for a beginner-intermediate programmer. A beginner wouldn’t like very much, but the intended level will definitely. It gave me a more better understanding of what I’m coding really.
effective java The subreddit r/learnprogramming recommended this. I liked it as a introduction to java. My friend has head first java and I didn’t like it. It felt outdated and didn’t explain as much as I would have liked it to.
c++ book Nice one for beginning. I enjoyed it and all and found other books not as fun or thorough.
c++ intermediate I used this to get my c++ proficiency up. Not the best, but is the better of the books on intermediate c++.
These are just what I used, and there are probably better books out there. I recommend starting some python to get used to it and branch into the language you want. Also sorry for late reply :/
