This carrying case. It's good because the zipper pocket can hold the joycon bumpers, ear buds, and my 3DS. And the game holder slots are big enough that I can bring a few 3DS games as well as a few Switch games.

I went with a 32 GB SD card which is about 3/4ths full at this point. Gonna upgrade at some point but it's fine for now.

Good to hear! It sounded a little worrying when you said you felt like the walking dead. I have a basic case like this that fulfills my needs perfectly. I can just shove it in my messenger bag along with everything else. What you are considering could also be useful for Steam Deck users too. Maybe ask communities that use that as well.

Although not sure why it's a different seller now, but it was on sale for like 6.99 and everything fits in it.

I second this one as well because it’s a little taller. If you are interested in a gripcase, which I can’t recommend enough, this case will fit small ones like the JETech gripcase. Great 1-2 punch, and affordable. I have personally purchased the JETech for several of my friends when they got Switches because it’s such a gamechanger, but isn’t too big and doesn’t require a specific case (although most larger gripcases come with their own carrying case.

Edit: Oops, jk, the one I have is the Hestia Goods carrying case. That’s what I can guarantee will fit a smaller gripcase, although the Orzzly looks taller too. The Insignia one didn’t fit the Switch with the JETech Gripcase on.

Carries the Switch (joycons attached), 20 games, and it has a zipper department where you can store cords, more joycons, etc.

I recommend a good case for the switch, especially if you plan on using it out and bout. Here's a good one!. You can also look up others online that suit your taste better. Pokken is an alright local and online game if you like that style of gameplay! Mario Kart is always fun! I also got myself a dock sock. Helps prevent any scratching and looks nice!

I have the updated Butterfox case, and love it. I just realized the link you provided here is a blatant ripoff of the butterfox one unless its a reseller but I never herd of Hestia, and they are using the pictures from the Butterfox case. Unless i'm clearly missing something?

I just purchased a switch on eBay(Semi impulse buy) and I am wondering what sort of accessories/items I should buy with it and if there is anything I should check when it arrives. This is also my first ever console, I mainly play on PC but I need a device for an upcoming flight and the switch seemed like the best option! It comes with some cheap-looking third-party controller and I also have a few Xbox controllers.

1. USB hub. I'm looking at this Skull & Co one as it looks like I can use it with other USB C devices and I'll be getting a MacBook from work.
2. Carrying case. I found this one that looks like it comes with a detachable smaller case. I like this one because it looks durable. My friend also recommended this one which is a lot cheaper(which would allow me to get more games)
3. Games! I was looking on eBay at bundles of games to try a save a little money but I'm open to suggestions. I've always bought digital for PC but I think it would be cool to have a physical collection.

I feel like this must be a very common question, but I searched and looked at the wiki and only found a few mentions.

I am looking for a carry case (somewhat compact/hard shell) for my switch that has enough space for the AC wall charger. I've tried the Atrix one at gamestop, and this daydayup one off Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0711K97BS They are both a bit too small. Like I can force the charger in but it bulges and presses on the switch.

I also want it to have the little lift tab to help pull the switch out.

Typically more expensive = better quality, but for this you just want sometime durable for a reasonable price without too many bells and whistles. Regarding price, I just went for ones off amazon in the mid-range with a lot of reviews (I’ll link what I got below and I’m loving them so far!)

I'm looking to buy a Switch case and I am having trouble deciding which one to go with. The Hestia Goods case looks good but I'm skeptical of the quality because of the low price. The RDS case also looks good but slightly more expensive.

Which one should I go with? Additionally, do either of these cases hold the charger well?

This is the case I use, it's recommended on switchchargers.com/ and I see it recommended fairly often on this sub. I can't tell you if it is objectively the smallest case in existence to suit your needs, though.
