There is a universal roof rack make by HeyTrip. Bought it on Amazon for $65 (I think price fluctuates between 60-70) . It is the BEST purchase I made. I have a tiny compact with no roof rack options. Got it on and off no issues. Works with my 8ft kayak. Drive up to 70 mph with it on. The longest I drove is 1.5 hours with it. Comes with everything you need.
Hi, I bought something called a HeyTrip roof wrack for my 2020 Kia Soul. You can get it on Amazon. I used it to transport a 4x8 wood framed mirror about 40 miles. It worked perfectly. And I just fold it away and throw it in the back when not in use.

We are thinking of getting this rack along w these bumpers b/c of moonroof.HeyTrip Universal Soft Roof Rack
They make a rubber/foam bumper to go under the canoe touching the windshield edge. It straps on through the inside cab. Happy w the Yakima rack? I like the look of that! bumpers
I found this we are going to try for our kayaks... soft bumper rails

I personally use this. The only issue on my 2014 is I need to remove my antenna.
I used this one.
