sure it would do, but the price is not that cheap. as 99% of the cable wont be used.i would rather use something like this, make a new hole or enlarge the actual one, use the connector's screw to hold it to the case, cut the small connector and solder the 2 wires.
I got these for my Impact Viii, work awesomely, not worth saving a buck or two and getting them used.
Get these
https://www.amazon.com/Highfine-2-4GHz-6dBi-Omni-directional-Connector/dp/B01KBU61S8
drill 2 holes through the back of your case and they will slide through and screw down. Itll look nice
If you don't want to drill, I bet there are ones you can buy that are in a pci bracket, I just didn't see any right away.
The router is mounted in the cab; it has one of the stock ants left on it. The other jack feeds the extension and antenna (this one) that hangs from the rearview.
These are the spare one that I picked
Highfine 2 x 2.4GHz 6dBi Indoor... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KBU61S8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I hope this helps. Also try placing the miner high on the wall, with as short length of cable as possible.
As others have mentioned, the wavelength of 2.4GHz is 12.5cm. Adding random lengths of wire will just make it worse. You can get a little bit of gain by using a WIFI antenna from a WIFI router. You can use a kit like this. https://www.amazon.com/HIGHFINE-2-4GHz-6dBi-Omni-Directional-Connector/dp/B01KBU61S8/ref=sr_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=2.4GHz+antenna+coax&qid=1599593385&s=electronics&sr=1-12

You need to keep the coax cable as short as possible though. At 2.4GHz, losses are very high, so you can easily make things worse and get no gain at all.
Without seeing the other end of the cables where they plug into the WiFi Antenna.. which I am going to assume is at the front of the case.. I think it is a U.fl IPX RF Pigtail Cable
like this one here: https://www.ebay.com/p/U-fl-IPX-RF-Pigtail-Cable-30cm/670565450?iid=380410332238
You could replace that whole Antenna with This: https://www.amazon.com/Highfine-2-4GHz-6dBi-Omni-directional-Connector/dp/B01KBU61S8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1514859586&sr=8-1&keywords=5Dbi+RP-SMA+Antennas+and+20cm%2F8%22+U.fl%2FIPEX+to+RP-SMA+Cables
And make some holes in one of the Blank PCI slots..
Not to sure what you mean. Here is the first- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01KBU61S8/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=dre-youtube-20&linkId=5d1f0fdbbe822d7847f33f3c3467a1a9 Here is the second antenna I have used with better rssi. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A4I3AGE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Now here is an odd thing, when I use different antennas of the same kind, I get different swr ratings. I also purchased a 2dbi that has an swr value of 48 swr.
