for better or for worse, you learn to push through the discomfort of being sick/tired/whatever and just stick to running regardless. It gets less difficult with time but ultimately the body adapts.
Ps. as a fellow bad hip person, investing in a hip brace makes a world of difference with pain management/mitigation
This is the one I use.
I like it because it holds my thigh, so it can't slip too far; but it does still ride up a little bit sometimes.
It's held it's own for several months now, and it's just starting to pull away from my thigh where the Velcro sticks on. But, no seams are coming apart! I'm overall happy with it, honestly.
Good luck finding one that's right for you!
I have something similar to this brace The leg portion helps my hip and also helps it stay in place. I haven't found zipper compression for SI joint or I would be all over it but getting them on is a battle I lose sometimes.
