This is a solid newer biography about Hitler. Part 2 is yet to come. It may not be as fundamental as earlier works like the one by Joachim Fest. But its easier accesible since other works and what I really like is that it has a strong focus on the politics that lead up to Hitlers grip to power between January an May 1933.
Also the fundamental biography of Wilhelm II. by John G. Roehl might be worth a read. Unfortunately, about the republic of Weimar I know only books which are not translated.
