Yes, just that. It's nearly impossible to find a single set with sculpted keycaps that work with the K2's nonstandard layout.
Going for an unsculpted set means you don't have to worry about the gradient which increases the compatibility. No worrying about the R1 End key for instance.
The keys most to look out for are: 1.75u R-shift / R1 end / R2 home / R4 page up / R3 page down / 1u R-ctrl / 1u R-alt / R4 generic to replace the light key
For example this one is missing the 1u R-ctrl / 1u R-Alt / R1 End / R2 Home. Looking at the 75% keycaps sets will typically have a few keys missing as well.
They’re called 9009. GMK makes them but this is a PBT set on Amazon
Most of (if not all) these HK Gaming Keycaps have the UK 2, it took me a while to find some myself, i have a set of the "Chalk" ones from them, but i've just noticed the Purple and Yellow "Mamba" which i like the look of.
They are the HK Gaming 9009 Keycaps
Thanks!! and they're just these cheap one's off Amazon... for now. (All I could afford at the time of building) I did just order the dots r2 set a couple days ago which will replace them once they arrive eventually lol. Also waiting on GMK Incognito that will probably also be in rotation! So these are more or less placeholder caps for now.
I got some 9009 keycaps from Amazon and combined the accents. I use the keyset for another board and those 2 keys are extra.
Here’s the link: HK Gaming Dye Sublimation Keycaps | Cherry Profile | Thick PBT Keysets for Mechanical Keyboard (139 Keys, 9009) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085249L6R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_kIidGb0QABPMX
For the price they are surprisingly very good quality. Single shot PBT I think but don’t quote me.
I know these don't fit the colors you're looking for, but these are some nice decent quality keycaps that fit many layouts.
Thank you and of course!
I hope I'm doing this correct
Keyboard: KBD67 Lavender Lite
Switches: Lavender Linear (lubed + TX Switch Films Green 0.125mm)
Stabelizers: Durock V2 Screw-in
Keycaps
And the cable is a birthday present, I believe my boyfriend bought it from KingCables on Etsy!
The profile shouldn't matter, it's really preference - I was aiming to try a flat profile like XDA or DSA but I couldn't find a compatible set.
So I went with Cherry profile because that's all I could get!
I've also had these (someone else also recommended) for a different keyboard: https://www.amazon.co.uk/HK-Gaming-Sublimation-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B085249L6R
Also quite good - I can't remember why I didn't get another set for the K2 so carefully check all the keys on this. But the Sumgsn feel a bit thicker/more solid.
Would you recommend it even if everything else was in stock. I might get the freebird 60 and just wait 4 months. And is the id67 compatible with these keycaps?https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085249L6R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ZT85QGZD6TM48V4MQND0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

For the price these are probably the best/most available you can get in the UK right now:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B085249L6R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_pXE7FbVQ855DK
I do know you can also get the pudding style PBT caps easily if the insane rgb is your thing.
Clearly there are better options but they are well well over double the price and you get thrown to the group buy wolves in order to get them.
most epbt key caps sets are good quality and have those extra caps like the short enter. you can also check out these ones on amazon. comes with the extra keys also and has 10 variants https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085249L6R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_Y0hWFb8JVGXAW beware of the enter key tho. i’ve gotten two sets and they were kinda bowed which caused the stabs to pop out of the housings. you can fix it with a blow dryer tho
Thanks. Damnit. Any tips on getting one that would fit with the rest? (https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B085249L6R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
Also, in fact, having a second "\" for next to the left shift would be nice as well - it only came with one...
I have the HK 9009 set. They're available on amazon. It's the cheapest set you can get that includes the necessary modifiers. (Here's the link)[https://www.amazon.com/HK-Gaming-Sublimation-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B085249L6R/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=hk+9009&qid=1604338852&sr=8-1]
I'm looking to get a Glorious GMMK with Kailh Box Blacks and these keycaps and was wondering if the switches would be compatible with the keycaps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Personally have not tried these keycaps but I heard they were really good for the value HK Gaming Dye Sublimation Keycaps | Cherry Profile | Thick PBT Keysets for Mechanical Keyboard (139 Keys, 9009) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085249L6R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_XGtJFbAMAMN0T
Hey,
Just wanted to check back in, excellent shout on the HK gaming set.
I ended up getting the 9009 color scheme and it works without the sticking issues i had with the other set! :-)
My only 'issue' right now is working out what 4x keys i want the right hand side of the board to be. :-p
Thanks!
Looking to get a set of "cheap" keycaps while I wait for a GMK Coral set is made available
How are these HK Gaming ones?
I like the color
Just search for pbt caps or iso caps or similar. I am currently using the HK gaming 9009 oem profile on a GMMK Compact.
Cherry profile, feel lower than the razer etc, loving them.
HK Gaming have got some nice caps up on Amazon. They're Cherry profile, thick PBT and dye-sub, so they tick all the boxes for me! They include a really good variety of different alternate keycaps as well, so things like 1u FN keys etc. If you have a look at the pictures of the caps in the trays you'll get a good idea of what's there.
Because it uses opticals, you can't use any of the other custom switches on the market really. You're limited to optical switches.
Keycaps are relative to what you think are quality, but there's a pretty decent set of caps on amazon for fairly cheap (at least US)
What may work better for you is see if you can look on taobao and find a keyboard kit there for cheap, or get something like an anne pro 2
recently bought a tecware phantom as a budget base with the hopes of improving upon it over time as it is hot-swappable, first thing i want to do is buy some keycaps but as im new at this im not sure what keycaps would fit, as the switches are outemu's im under the impression cherry profile keycaps will fit, was planning on buying these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B085249L6R/?coliid=I2KGRWI17XI6QP&colid=FQKW8EU2KNQY&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it would love to know if they will fit.
Had to order this set (https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B085249L6R?psc=1&smid=AOX42M1QYZ4TV&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp) as it's one of the few full UK iso sets around, I'm looking for some novelty or blank keycaps that would match this set. Anything would be great. Thanks!
Thanks mate! The board I used for this build was a Mizar MZ60 from Amazon and the keycaps are these ones! There's a few different variants as well. The switches (Gateron Yellows) were purchased from AliExpress for around £13.00. I bought the Krytox 205g0 from eBay from a seller, but I can also recommend Keebcats.co.uk for any lubricants or films.
I have since built a few other builds since I built this one - this is my most recent one and I have actually moved onto using ANSI layouts as they keycaps selection is just so much more vast. I was quite disappointed with the lack of ISO layouts but this is my recent ANSI build I've made. I've just remapped the keys using Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator so the dollar sign is now a pound sign by default.
HK Gaming Cherry Profile 9009 Color. Got them off amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085249L6R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
HK gaming sets on amazon here:
all come with 1.75u right shift. Price to quality ratio is great. I recommend.
As best I can tell, this kit comes with all the key sizes you'd need and comes in 4 pretty decent color ways:
These exact ones, but they are sold out at the moment. I really love them, they have a very sturdy but soft touch!
HK Gaming on amazon seem to do UK ISO keys in all(?) their sets? https://www.amazon.co.uk/HK-Gaming-Sublimation-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B085249L6R
i also picked up this set that had UK ISO keys: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tai-Hao-KEY00171-Double-Hawaii-Keyboard/dp/B07354WY57
just check all the image and look out for tallboy enter key, the 2", etc.
Tai-Hao do quite a few ISO sets: https://www.kustompcs.co.uk/tai-hao/
A few on YMDKEY also: https://ymdkey.com/collections/keycap-1
HKGaming on Amazon Also: https://www.amazon.co.uk/HK-Gaming-Sublimation-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B085249L6R
Finally made the move from a Corsair K70 with Cherry Browns and the difference is night and day - here's an informal sound comparison from my build stream yesterday.
Anyone have recommendations for a coiled cable that won't break the bank?
Thank you for the recommendation, and to others as well for their replies.
I thought about a "new model M" and might still get one for fun later
But after much research today, I settled on this Leopold FC750R which I found to be an acceptable compromise.
I really want the old beige/white look so I also purchased these keycaps from Amazon in the 9009 style. I hope the fit and feel nice.
Matcha PBT, MA Black on White, NP Blanks, NP Gray and White, Tai-Hao Cubic WoB and BoW, and HKgaming 9009 are good budget PBT sets.
If you're willing to spring for $70-80 the options grow exponentially as many in-stock ePBT Doubleshot ABS sets, CannonKeys PBT & NicePBT sets, and Kinetic Labs Polycaps sets begin to enter the conversation, some of which already are supporting designers who double as vendors, like Upas of CannonKeys.
But remember, instead of getting two of those kinds of sets, you could save the money and support a designer you really dig by buying a Group Buy GMK or ePBT set for between $85 and $135 depending on the design and kitting. It feels good to directly support the people that made this hobby become a community. Without them creating projects then there's no real custom keyboard scene. We'd all still be handwiring in jank cases and compiling our own firmwares for keyboards if it wasn't for people like Olivia, Garrettsucks, Chewwy, Jae, Huey, and so on (I'm forgetting many names) having such dedication and courage to put forward things that help everybody. The very least we can do as a community is support the people who have historically helped bring it to where it is today.
This one, probably.
the set isn't on their store anymore but i bought it from here
I heard that gateron yellows with a black bottom and milky top were the best linear budget switch so I was planning on buying krytox 205G0 and lubing them. https://www.amazon.com/Keyboard-Universal-Lubricant-Mechanichttps://www.amazon.com/HK-Gaming-Dye-Sublimation-Keycaps/dp/B085249L6R?th=1&psc=1al-Stabilizer/dp/B096VSF487/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=lubing+kit&qid=1629112051&sr=8-3
Yes they do. Every HKGaming set should have those https://www.amazon.co.uk/HK-Gaming-Sublimation-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B085249L6R
I had a quick look through your posts to see if I could find it and found that picture already haha (also noticed you're a fellow destiny player!) and your picture looks so much better than the pictures on the site!
I decided to go for one I was looking at on amazon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B085249L6R/ref=crt_ewc_title_dp_1?ie=UTF8&smid=AOX42M1QYZ4TV&th=1) because I found someone selling it a tenner cheaper brand new on eBay. I've since read that the cherry style keycaps can hit the top of the north facing switches... so i've just got some hard 70a o-rings off amazon to hopefully raise the cap enough to stop it hitting the switch, but hopefully not make it feel "mushy" as it's a harder rubber... that's my theory anyway, we'll see how it goes!
I'm pretty sure all of these sets fit 65% keyboards.
The stems of the keycaps are most likely loose and don't attach to the switch properly. It may be worth investing in a cheap keycap set like this: https://www.amazon.com/HK-Gaming-Dye-Sublimation-Keycaps/dp/B085249L6R?th=1

this is uk layout and hk gaming sell some nice pbt compatible sets on amazon.co.uk
they have a variety of options and it supports uk layout and standard layout
There are a lot of cheapish keycap sets that should cover the layouts of most boards in the $30-50 range. I'd check brands like YMDK and HK Gaming as they often have all of the extra keys you need for alternative layouts.
https://www.amazon.com/HK-Gaming-Dye-Sublimation-Keycaps/dp/B085249L6R/
Limiting it to what's available in Canada and all those other requirements means you're not going to find much.
The closest thing I can recommend is maybe something from HK Gaming like this set. You'll have to live with some incorrectly labeled keys like using the Fn1 and Fn2 keys for your RCTRL and RALT keys and whatever you like for the Numpad 0
key since there isn't one in there.
Amazon also has some 1800 kit keycap sets from DROP like this MiTo XDA Canvas one which is a flat profile meaning you can just use keys wherever you like.
Just search Amazon.ca for the other DROP sets--not sure which are available in 1800.
Easy:
Durgod Taurus 310 white and grey
Ultra Classic IBM style keyboard and another one (not Blue but ultra retro)
My choice would be Varmilo109 with 9009 keycaps
That's a 9009 colorway, I don't know about that very specific set but here are some that look the same:
The EPBT has a colevrak kit too which is nice if you use a different layout. Make sure you get a wire keycap puller. I used a cheaper plastic one and it scuffed my keycaps. (bent the edges)
Search this subreddit for k6. Lots of keycap examples.
https://www.amazon.com/HK-Gaming-Dye-Sublimation-Keycaps/dp/B085249L6R/
This set is popular for the K6 because it includes everything except the right alt key (including FN1 and FN2). It is easy to remap the right alt key to a second windows key, which is way more functional anyway.
You can order these from keychron.
https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-xda-profile-pbt-retro-keycap-set?variant=32353529495641
Complete shine-through sets for RGB are harder to find...but users are better off with a cable KB if RGB is their thing.
I would email keychron about the aluminum slides.
Hey, sorry for the late reply, I haven’t been too active on here.
I got them on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B085249L6R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_P6DP5XZSBYFQXKR6VYA7

see if you look it comes with all the keys you need. The ones you kept linking me were for standard keyboards. You have a nonstandard one
I'm pretty sure I have the same set of keycaps, they can be found here
I suggest keycaps from hk gaming (they're sold on amazon). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085249L6R/ref=twister_B081575MZ6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
These look similar

There are a couple of tai hao sets on overclockersuk in stock, theres the hk gaming dye sub sets on amazon
Mechbaords.co.uk also have some tai hao abs doubleshots in stock
Most if not all the MT3 keysets in stock on drop.com have a uk ISO kit that you can buy with it if you like MT3 and its within your budget, but like you said its an extra add on and it would be a waste of keycaps
SA dreameater is in stock at mechsupply as well
Thats all I could find right now but Im sure I missed some, double check for yourself in the europe vendor list but bear in mind that some vendors in the EU outside of the UK might not be shipping to the UK right now with all the covid and brexit stuff going down
HK Gaming 9009 is $40 shipped on amazon with prime, free returns, etc. https://www.amazon.com/HK-Gaming-Sublimation-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B085249L6R/ref=sr_1_8?dchild=1&keywords=keycaps&qid=1606757511&sr=8-8

If you like the 9009 color scheme, I have seen a lot of people recommending this as very good quality for it's price.
Amazon has this one: HK Gaming Dye Sublimation Keycaps | Cherry Profile | Thick PBT Keysets for Mechanical Keyboard (139 Keys, 9009) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085249L6R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_E0AQFbNX1AEZ6

i gotcha :) https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B085249L6R
this set from HK Gaming has exactly what you'd like, and is fairly cheap considering that they're dye-subbed and amazing quality. They also include Mac shortcut keys.
Keychron also sells a Retro Mac set.

lmfao get hk gaming 9009 caps on amazon which are like 40 bucks. they are amazing quality with the pbt and one can say that they may be better than the original. these should be good temporary caps and here is a link if u are interested - https://www.amazon.com/HK-Gaming-Sublimation-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B085249L6R.
cherry profile keycaps off amazon here
As best I can tell, this kit comes with all the key sizes you'd need and comes in 4 pretty decent color ways:
HK gaming. I'm really impressed with mine, they seem as just good as my kprepublic dye subs which cost twice as much.
I recently got a Vortex Tab 90M and I'm hoping to get the 9009 look onto it. I'm wondering would these fit the keys?

Probably your best bet for cheap caps that cover a 65
HK Gaming Dye Sublimation Keycaps... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085249L6R?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Got these recently in the 9009 colorway: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085249L6R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_hBvDFbVPPYKYP
Much cheeper than epbt 9009 from kbdfans and the quality is pretty good
Not familiar with the layout but these might fit, they are a great value set https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B085249L6R/ref=dp_cerb_2?th=1 - doesnt have 1u shift but there are a few other 1u keys of the correct row you could use.
This set has 1u mods for the bottom row, although they read Fn1, Fn2, Win, and Win, which may not be to your liking but it's functional. Divinikey and The Key Company have some keycap sets sold out, but many are still available and would fit your needs.
Best of luck in your search!
I picked these up not to long ago from a recommendation from another Redditor, for the price they are pretty top notch.
Get these...very good keycaps for the money

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085249L6R/ref=twister_B081575MZ6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Yup! Funny how that works indeed. It all comes down to personal preference I guess. I've scoured through this sub for a bit and found these keycaps https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085249L6R/ref=twister_B081575MZ6?_encoding=UTF8&th=1
But im still on the fence on getting the K6 regardless. I'm still on the market for a MK but I'll keep searching I guess. Enjoy your K6 tho!

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085249L6R/ref=twister_B081575MZ6?_encoding=UTF8&th=1
Yeah all GMK sets will be pricey. If you want something minimal you can't go wrong with the PBT BoW on novelkeys right now for something cheaper. If you haven't seen that already.
https://novelkeys.xyz/collections/frontpage/products/cherry-pbt-white-on-black
I also picked up this set recently, it's actually really good quality for how cheap it is. It's a replica of GMK 9009. I think it would look decent on black.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085249L6R/ref=twister_B081575MZ6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You can also look https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?pg=3&l=product_list&c=40 . They sell a variety of tai-hao keycaps which are on the cheaper side.
The keys you need to pay attention to are the follow:
There are many different key profiles like cherry, OEM, XDA, SA, DSA. Most of these profiles have different heights for each row of keys represented by R1, R2, R3, R4.
If you are having a hard time finding a keycap set of your taste that fits all the nonstandard keys on your Keychron K6, you can sometimes use keycaps for certain keys and keep the stock keycaps on your nonstandard keys which is what I did with mine using the Hyper X pudding keycap set (you can find these on Amazon).

I'm thinking about getting a new keycap set for my Keychron K6 that will fit all the nonstandard keys. This one below on Amazon has all the nonstandard keys needed for Keychron K6 if you're interested. Good luck on your hunt!

Something like this on amazon should work for ISO. But if you want to turn the hyper x fps pro from Ansi layout to ISO layout, it is near impossible. Just return it and find the ISO layout keyboard that you want.
there is a lot of low profile keyboard, but since you seems to really want ISO layout, sharkoon pure writer keyboard seems like the best options,
Here is the link to find out more information about it. https://en.sharkoon.com/product/PWTKLRGB
If you are in the USA you might want to check Amazon. They have a few good sets for cheap. Be sure to study the sizes in the kit and compare to the needs of your particular keyboard before ordering.

HK Gaming caps on Amazon, tons of layout support and somehow they're just as good as my kprepublic cherry dyesubs that cost twice as much.
They should be doubleshot pbt and cherry profile. Try some Razer pbt keycaps or 9009 from amazon.
They look great!
It's befuddling to me why there are not more products like these on the market. There clearly is a huge market. Once the molds are made the caps can be produced in large quantities quite easily. And a myriad of different color schemes can be created by simply changing the color of the plastic pellets loaded into the hoppers feeding the machine.
I suspect the industry will change quite a bit in the next few years as companies like the ones making these ramp up volumes.
And speaking of colors (or lack there of,) I ordered the BoW set and eagerly waiting on their arrival. I'm not a cap snob by any means and expect these will serve my needs nicely. I ordered a similar set from HK Gaming off Amazon a short while back and the quality was quite nice. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085249L6R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
We need more of these low priced but decent quality options to be made available.
Not GMK but I also came across this 9009 PBT set on Amazon for $40 USD.
When looking for ISO keycaps you'll not only need the different enter key but other keys such as the 2 and 3. Some sets say ISO but all they give is the enter.
This one for example has all you need. Again Amazon:
