@hotnspicy201 terrible situation, my pup went through it, also happened at 4yo. Wherever you get OP done, make sure your pup is confined to smallish space with no temptation to jump for several weeks post OP. Also getting something like https://www.amazon.com/HNYG-Lifting-Harness-Sling-Lifter/dp/B07P7N8KMF/ref=sr_1_3_sspa?keywords=dog+acl+sling&qid=1652975295&sprefix=dog+acl+sli%2Caps%2C114&sr=8-3-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExR09TRVBRUkFNU1ZUJm... will help them walk while in recovery. Best wishes.
Get a dog sling similar to this so people can help her get in the house and to the vet. . Get the vet to help her with maybe pain management or some other medical treatment. Also ask the vet about diet to help her loose weight, change in food, food reduction, sometimes they replace some food with greenbeans for fewer calories. If the vet cannot help improve her quality of life you’ll need to consider euthanasia, because a life where she can hardly move isn’t fair.
