That motor is a 380 size in a 540 can - compare those skinny motor wires to the wires on just about any other 540/3650 motor - you don't want skinny wire😉 any motor that says F540, instead of just 540, RUN! 🤣.
As for the esc, spend a bit more to get the hobbywing 120 amp that's under $50 on Amazon - it's not waterproof, but otherwise is the best esc value

Best "bang for your buck" esc https://www.amazon.com/HOBBYWING-QUICRUN-10BL120-SENSORED-Touring/dp/B0765Q2SVS/
As for motor, you can use anything that won't draw more than 120amps continuous 😉🤣 surpass, racestar, whatever - just don't get a "F-540" they are actually a smaller motor with a bunch of "cooling fins" to bloat the can out to 3650 size
For that price range, I've had a lot of luck with
For under $50 dollars i would reccomend the HOBBYWING QUICRUN 10BL120, its a sensored esc so you can upgrade to a sensored motor later.
The new battery isn't working? Is the c rating too low? mah have nothing to do with a battery except how long it'll last.
There's several ways to pick out a motor and esc. You can pick out a target speed and work backwards from there. Or you can pick out a certain rating for amps/volts and work forwards from there.
Another consideration is that unsensored brushless motors work better (have less cogging / hesitating) at higher KV (and you'd probably gear down more). A sensored brushless motor, you're generally going to be better off with a lower KV motor, but they're more expensive.
It's good to know what size motor you are looking for, too. Most 1/10 scales are using a 540 brushed motor, or a 36mm brushless motor. Brushless motors have numbers like 3650 which means it's 36mm diameter x 50mm length.
If you want a real quick, easy solution without much math at a moderate price point, for 1/10th scale, I'd probably just recommend this esc:
https://www.amazon.com/HOBBYWING-QUICRUN-10BL120-SENSORED-Touring/dp/B0765Q2SVS/
(programming card, if you decide to change any settings, must be Hobbywing branded, same as ESC)[https://www.amazon.com/HOBBYWING-Program-Platinum-Brushless-Aircraft/dp/B08BXQ17T9/]
For a sensored motor, you'd probably want to look for something in the low-mid 3000kv range, which would give you some leeway in either direction in terms of gearing for speed.
For a sensorless moto, I'd probably try and go high 3000kv or low 4000kv and gear down (to manage heat) and to reduce cogging.
Above ESC can do either type of motor. Make sure you double check dimensions of both ESC and motor to make sure they fit.
For WAY more info, this guy makes videos. I think this is probably the most relevant.
I DON'T think it mentions max amps on an ESC, but if you're running 2s or 3s on the 120a quicrun, ESC should be able to handle pretty much any KV. Could probably even get away with the 60a quicrun, but not much reason to (only a couple dollars cheaper), unless the 120 doesn't fit.
Easy, another great ESC from Hobbwing is the Quicrun 10BL120.
Plenty of good motors out there but the Surpass Hobby motors are a great value. For 3S a 3500kv would work well.
Make sure you regear the car once you add all that power.
On the cheap end, unsensored, I use a 3660 3800kv generic brushless, with a hobbywing esc. Can't run 4s on a 3800kv ( I'm sure some rebel has🤣), so 3s esc would fit the bill - as long as you can solder, it's the "bang for your buck" champ - are you in the UK? Hope these link help

*Bonus Bling link!😉 https://www.amazon.com/LAEGENDARY-Replacement-Brushless-Thunder-Aluminum/dp/B08GFFFWHQ/
That chassis should fit your vantage - there are other cheap vrx parts available thru LAEGENDARY, but beware because some of their prices are sky high - or the same part has 2 different prices according to which model they list it for - but if it's worth it to you to ship these, let me know if you want more links - like to complete slipper assembly, or aluminum rear hub carriers, etc
😁 I don't know that I'm knowledgeable, but I try to help based on my experience 😉 -i forgot to mention that the stock pinion has the smaller 3."something" mm hole, where as that 3660 3800kv motor has a 5mm shaft, so you will need a new pinion - the pitch is mod1/m1 I just got this set https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09ZY4PDBZ/
Do you have an esc for this yet? If not, and you can solder, this is the best 2s-3s bang for your buck esc https://www.amazon.com/HOBBYWING-QUICRUN-10BL120-SENSORED-Touring/dp/B0765Q2SVS/
I'm not a 3s person, but the 3 hobbywing esc I have (4s+) are noticably better/less cogging than my generic ESCs, so if I needed a 3s, it's my no-brainer choice
If soldering is no problem, this the best bang for your buck 3s esc - $47 https://www.amazon.com/HOBBYWING-QUICRUN-10BL120-SENSORED-Touring/dp/B0765Q2SVS/
Going cheaper, there's a 60 (or 50?) amp hobbywing esc for $26 - I don't think that price will stay that low for long https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08GFFB2TF/
As for motor, go with a longer can - and 5mm shaft if you can swing it for a new pinion - there's a pretty recent post of a smaller motor shaft snapped 😕 - I ran this motor just today - https://www.amazon.com/GoolRC-3800KV-Waterproof-Brushless-Crawler/dp/B07BF765LP/ in something similar to a blackout - lots of power - you will see a difference compared to that silvercan😉🤣 you are running lipo, right?
The 10bl60 isn't powerful enough for a 6.5t motor, I don't know what they're being sold as a pair. I'd suggest the 10bl120 and a sensored motor around 6.5t-10.5t for mod racing, depends how good a driver you think you are. I'm not from Canada but here's some links on amazon, not sure if these are good prices.
FYI you would have got a lot more helpful comments if you had explained it was for 2wd mod racing in the opening post.
This is the more powerful ESC I'd use with a 10.5t.

There is no better value👍
I've got the same car, some I'm going to put maximum effort into what I tell you 😉🤣 the best bang for your buck esc is https://www.amazon.com/HOBBYWING-QUICRUN-10BL120-SENSORED-Touring/dp/B0765Q2SVS/
With that one you won't be back here in a few days saying it burned up😉 beefy and name brand. As for motor, you can go cheap there - if you want to keep your stock pinion, you need a motor with a 3.175mm shaft - I prefer 5mm because some people have broken the 3.175 - motor wise, a 3660 or 3670 size, 3800kv I think would be good - start with 2s lipo, I'm posting a link for a 2pack of batteries just because they are usually a Lil cheaper to buy in pairs vs a single https://www.amazon.com/Zeee-Battery-Connector-Airplane-Helicopter/dp/B08GFRT9S9/
Motor - https://www.amazon.com/GoolRC-3800KV-Waterproof-Brushless-Crawler/dp/B07BF765LP/
That one has a 5mm shaft, so you will need a new pinion - the set I got https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08JH3RFPK/ A better deal than a single pinion and best of all, experiment with gearing/Speedruns 😁
