Autos also do their best with 18 - 24 hours of strong light per day so it's pretty amazing they look as good as they do. They would be shorter but bushier if they had good light
Some strains barely smell and others can stink out a room in a sealed baggie so you won't know what you're dealing with until they really start budding up.
A small grow tent with a carbon filter would give you a steady supply. A 2x2x6' tent, 4" exhaust fan with speed control to keep it quiet, carbon filter and a little LED light like this one, (I have the exact same one in a 2x4x4' tent) and it covers half of the tent really good.
You just start a new fem auto seed every couple of months and by the time the 2nd one is making it crowded in there the first one is ready for harvest and you start the 3rd one so every 2 months you harvest a couple or more ounces. Keep the light on 18hrs/day using a cheap timer and for maybe $500 - $800 you have a nice little system that is easy to hide and should be odourless. Tip: Buy a bigger carbon filter than the little ones sold with cheap systems and you get much better odour control and it will last a lot longer. Virgin Australian charcoal is the best.
I grow medicinally and over the years have put about $5000 into all my grow gear. The tent is just for small plants, clones etc. My main room is 7x9x6.5'h and I'm expanding it for another 8x4' flower area and I mainly use HID lights up to 1000W. Pot is legal here and I've yet to buy a single gram.
Yea i found a cob light do you think this would work? https://www.amazon.ca/Spectrum-Sunshine-Vegetables-HollandStar-X5-1500W-White/dp/B07TH7D3YH/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=3277FL934MQ9J&dchild=1&keywords=cob+grow+light&qid=1631292399&sprefix=cob+&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=AGW...
Better price and better product. Mars Hydro lights run really hot, are less efficient, than Kingbrite's. For the same price you will get a more powerful light from Kingbrite.
On Amazon the best quality I have seen is Spider Farmer, though the price matches, and the best value is a five COB LED that claims 1500w. The five COB LED is the most powerful light you can get for $100 or less (comes with accessories too) which makes it a pretty good beginner's light, but they stop working after a year or two.
Overall, I recommend Kingbrite first but if you have Amazon gift cards or aren't sure if you want to grow more than one plant then the other options may be better.
The best budget light I have found is a five COB LED but one of mine lasted about fourteen months before two of the lights stopped working on it. It's slightly less than optimal lighting for that tent size, but is a good starter light for testing the waters. $80 Canadian on sale, there doesn't seem to be any left on Canadian Amazon.
I have a friend with this light, or one very similar. It works, but for the price you can find better. One square foot is a very limiting space, so it also depends on what your goal is.
Lights like this are more powerful and cost less than three of the lights you linked. If you stick with the 50w/sqft guideline then this covers about four square feet. Generally Amazon has the better light options unless you are planning on spending multiple times more for a light you plan to use for over a decade.
Honestly it's going to be almost pointless using a 50$ light. Even for just one plant. If you look on Amazon you'll probably be about to find one for about 100$. They aren't the best, but for one plant it'll get you by. Something like this. https://www.amazon.ca/Spectrum-Sunshine-Vegetables-HollandStar-X5-1500W-White/dp/B07TH7D3YH/ref=mp_s_a_1_8?keywords=grow+light&qid=1578871065&sr=8-8
Like I said. They aren't that great. I use that one for my clones and it's fine. I dunno how it would do in flower though.
I realized a few hours ago I could have got it like 10 bucks cheaper if I got from a different seller, but that version had less good reviews as the one I got. I'd like to get a kill-a-watt to test and see how many watts it truly uses.
I was debating between these or a spiderfarm 4000 quantum board but... with the SF4000 being 8x the price it was kind of a no brainer. The SF may be higher quality but I mean, I got 4 of these for half the price of one SF4000. Although if I wasnt broke as fuck I likely would have gotten 2 of the SF4000 instead but... work has been sporadic unfortunately so I cant afford it right now. Trades always slow down this time of year though :/ makes X-Mas stressful and makes me feel guilty about spending money on myself but.. I need these to grow my meds for next year so it is what it is, gonna have to pull money outta nowhere like everyone else... I hate Christmas now that I'm an adult. It makes me want to hibernate until St. Patrick's day and wake up just in time to make my Irish ancestry proud.
I'm on disability and am in the process of getting stuff together to grow. I have grown many times in the past but for certain reasons I have very little to start up again.

Now. If you want a quick cheap grow, space buckets are popular. But if you got a closet like me I'll show you some amazon stuff that I've been researching.

So this is the light I'm going to be buying. It is amazon's choice. There are some others that look almost identical so I don't know if this is just a rebranded other light, but it seems to be pretty good for cheap chinese crap. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07TH7D3YH/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AGWA544CYKRDN&psc=1

Now the filter. Vivosun seems to be good for a cheap filter. But they don't last too long. You need a humidity below 60 or it'll clog up. Lucky for you, that light comes with a meter :D. I have read a few reports that as long as it works on arrival and the homidity is below 60, it'll last 2 full grows and then it'll start dying off. For $50 it doesn't look too bad and you can always add ona gel to try to get a 3rd grow off.

SPEND GOOD MONEY ON A INLINE FAN! Go to an actual store and buy a decent one, it'll be way more silent than anything off of amazon
Soil, I bought promix from walmart. Organic and full of useful fungus

Located in Toronto. I used it in a 2x3 tent and it was enough for both veg and flowering. Used for 2 grow cycles (+-8 months total).
Awwww hyyyypeee!!

Less than the CA one :)
I'd suggest skipping the blurple and getting a full spectrum light for the same price. It'll still be cheap gear, but at least it'll be decent light. Amazon has these guys available overnight for $139, and (at least in my account) it offered a $40 coupon that brought the price to $99 at checkout.
