This is also on Amazon for those wondering. The white one is $94.99+$9.99 Shipping though.
Same price as on amazon. Might not be as good of a deal as newegg would have you believe.
These chairs from amazon fit your style and budget and they seem to have pretty good reviews.
I can say the chair itself is super comfy. But not $500 comfy. lol.
The $100 ones off amazon are worth.

This is the chair shown in the pic. This one is worth imo.

I haven't had this for very long but I enjoy it and with Amazon Prime is only $110. I wasn't going to spend over $150 on a "gaming" chair and this seems like a deal to me.
I wish the seat was slightly less firm but it is better than the basic cheap office chair I had before and it has better back support. When I lean back in it against the lumbar and neck support I say, “ ahh this is nice.“ I was tempted to get the pink/white version but the black/white version was a Black Friday shopping special and coordinates with my mostly back hardware and the PS5.
It is the Homall chair, comes in a lot of colors, inexpensive so the quality isn't super-high but it'll do. It is leather and not polyurethane. It is similar to the GTracing chair often seen in Battlestation posts here.
https://www.amazon.com/Homall-Computer-Executive-Ergonomic-Adjustable/dp/B01MRZ02TL?th=1
Sadly it looks like the pink/white version isn't available.
I picked up the highest rating ergonomic chair on Amazon when it was on sale, trying to deal with the frequent back pain, neck pain, and butt numbness from extended sessions on home PC using folding chairs and cheap, adjustable office chairs with additional back cushions and back brace things that only mildly helped. I've been surprising satisfied with the purchase, and rarely have any back/butt/neck issues due to my PC sessions.
At the time it didn't have the moderately gaudy "S-Racer" text on either the cushions or the top of the chair itself, and it was marketed more as an office chair than a gaming chair. One gripe for the model/version I did get is sturdiness on the arm supports. They can't handle much weight and the sides of the cushioning on one of them broke open (still usable) within a year of heavy use, which might well be a problem with the user, rather than the product.

Alguien ha traido una de estas sillas a Venezuela? Quiero traer esa, pero sacando cuentas el envio son como $80. No quiero pagar en envio casi lo mismo que cuesta la silla.
This might just be a personal preference thing, but I'd recommend against getting it. Staples has a bunch of office chairs to choose from, so I'd recommend going there and testing them out if you want to get one from them.
The only reason I got it was because it was cheap (website says like 40% off and I had a coupon code). Besides the clicking sound sitting on it gets uncomfortable after around 3 hours for me.
If lumbar support isn't a deal breaker for you and you don't mind a leather chair, I used this chair for 4+ years and the arm rests only recently started to tear a little bit.
I've purchased this chair two months ago. It is pretty comfortable. Arm height is ok, they don't adjust. Butt cushion is so so. It's ok for the first hour or two but after that hurts the tail bone a bit. I'm 5'9 280lbs. Lumbar pillow is pointless, but neck pillow is great. Best price for performance out there. If you can afford more I would recommend doing so though.
Just fish around for gaming chairs on Amazon. I've seen at least a few streamers using this.
I got mine off Amazon, but this was also a while ago. Here's one I found and it's actually the Amazon Choice: https://www.amazon.com/Homall-High-Back-Computer-Executive-Ergonomic/dp/B01MRZ02TL/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=gaming+chair&qid=1552348307&s=gateway&sr=8-3
You can search "Gaming Chair" in Amazon and you'll get tons of results.
Amazon for $95. I'm actually pretty surprised at the quality and it only took about 20 minutes to put together. My only complaint about it is the arms don't adjust up and down, but aside from that I really like it.
Of course! So the gaming chairs are the Amazon special (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRZ02TL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_dNCHFbF97P9DH). I see them on this subreddit all the time. We decided to remove the armrests because the corner desks are a little tight.
It’s a comfortable chair. Lumbar support pillow is decent, and it reclines more than you could possibly need. I’d recommend—as far as budget gaming chairs go.
The chairs in the lower right of the picture are actually part of a dining room set from Ashley Furniture. They are super comfortable, but cannot recline.
from amazon here! they don't have the color i have but they frequently restock! although for a lot more than their other colors :(
i got it on amazon for around $240 which was honestly higher than i would have liked but i just.. needed a pink chair.... it's here but they currently don't have pink, but they restock pretty often so if you're set on it i would just check back!
I do not play Warzome, sorry!
I ended up with this one. I do like it, but there were a couple equally priced that I liked better. When I was looking, Amazon was out of a lot of chairs, and I didn't really want to wait to see if others were going to be back in stock soon.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRZ02TL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
The S racer on Amazon is pretty comfortable honestly. I like it so much for gaming I bought a second for my WFH office and it’s great

So calling a chair "gaming" in web search will likely lead you to way over priced chairs. I would highly suggest looking around on Amazon. Find one you like that has a bunch of reviews. I bought one for roughly $90 before tax and I love it, I bought a $20 memory foam pad for it as the seat cushion was a little lacking but it's well made and has every feature you'd look for. So $110~$120 I got a chair other companies charge $300+ for. You are going to receive comments about how bad and gimmicky cheap racing gaming chairs are. It is up to you. If this is your budget and what you want, here is a great chair.
Homall Makes a pretty good mid level chair, should fit most requirements well enough and has quite a few color options. Also Amazon friendly
Never had a "gaming chair" before but I like it and it was somewhat affordable. I paid $89 at Amazon when I got it but it looks like it's a little more right now - $114.99
Get a chair with loblar support and good reviews.
I bought the gaming chair Hommal that is one of those race car style chairs with lombar support and neck pillow. Resembles IKEA brand.
It was around 115 bucks.
I have used it for a whole year every day for several hours and I can tell you now that it os by far the best chair ive used for desks / computers etc. And ive been using office chairs in the 100-200 dollar range.
Get something like mine or get a premium one. They seem to be trending but the utillity of them is great. Never has my back felt so good!

Personally I went from a super nice plush leather executive chair to this. Wasn't an upgrade. It's a $90 gaming chair and as such it's not amazing but it is definitely good.
There are $100 ones all over the place on Amazon. I have one and I am totally fine with it, I can't imagine what a chair could do different to justify 2-4x the price. It's the Homall one specifically, but they're probably all the same chair with a different logo in that price range.
edit: forgot to mention, the armrests are weirdly kicked out to the side (I think they didn't bend it enough during manufacturing), but it's an easy fix with some M8 or 5/16" metal or nylon washers from a hardware store. Just put a few washers between the arm rest tubing and the seat on the bolt closest to the middle of the chair and it will angle the arm rests further inward into a better spot.
I bought this chair about a year ago. It's great for the price.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRZ02TL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_5SZqCbFBE5ZA4
My bad. The on I got was a Homall Gaming chair. It's a lot more expensive now than when I got it 2 years ago.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRZ02TL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_SMYuFbXEW9HWR
I was using this generic "gaming" racing style chair.
If you insist on getting this style of chair, save yourself some money: https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/585126/Essentials-By-OFM-Racing-Style-Bonded/ or even cheaper: https://www.amazon.com/Homall-Computer-Executive-Ergonomic-Adjustable/dp/B01MRZ02TL
They're all the same.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MRZ02TL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This worked for me. It's slightly over $100 but you can adjust the lumbar support and my back and neck feels pretty good at the computer. The only drawback is the armrests are plastic not something soft, so there's that to consider. Good luck!
I got confused by this as well, as I bought a chair from "them" on amazon, and it's actually very awesome, though the price has went up since, the chair used to be about $80 - $119.

Hope this helps!
For a gaming chair your best bet would apparently be the SecretLab Titan, however you could take a chance with this cheaper version. My concern with the cheaper one is the armrests don't adjust and filtering amazon reviews by "arm rests" suggests they're crappy and fail.
Edit: though if you look more and more the consensus seems to be you should buy the equivalent of a $500 office chair which will ostensibly look after your back for 15 years +. Loads of reviews & articles about this e.g.
Yo is that this chair?
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01MRZ02TL/ref=cm_sw_r_u_apa_i_xl6IFbB8HN6PZ
I've had it in my cart for ages but wasn't sure if it was worth the money
(https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRZ02TL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_dNCHFbF97P9DH).
The chair was on sale for $99 when we ordered them. We removed the armrests due to lack of space. I actually think it makes them look better.
Got in on amazon! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRZ02TL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.4i1EbNW839ZH
https://www.amazon.com/Homall-Computer-Executive-Ergonomic-Adjustable/dp/B01MRZ02TL this was really great, but a bit expensive. The reviews on Amazon weren't actually all that good, but I thought it was so comfortable and helped my back problems a little. The only problem is that it is a little small, so if you say you are tall, that might not quite work. (I am only 5'7'') . I am just saying if you can afford it, gaming chairs are quite good for your back and comfortable.
I have just recently learned it is the Homall Gaming Chair Amazon Link
STRETCH STRETCH STRETCH!!!
This looks pretty similar but is cheaper and still gets good reviews!
But I do not own it so I can’t actually vouch for it
i just got this and it feels like im falling off the chair https://www.amazon.com/Homall-Executive-Leather-High-back-Headrest/dp/B01MRZ02TL/ref=sr_1_4?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1523653262&sr=1-4&keywords=gaming+chair
I bought this for $99 like two weeks ago and it does thiiiiiiiiiiiiis. It's like half the reason I bought it.
If anyone's confused about what I mean, here's an example: This chair, and this chair. You'll find at least 20 more brands with that same chair template, with materials and small details changed. I also noticed this when I was buying a gym bag recently.
I highly recommend this chair It’s super comfortable and has handled well from a ton of gaming ~8-10 hours a day.
Is that the Homall chair? I've been thinking about getting this for someone I know. Would you recommend?
Some off brand gaming chair from Amazon
thisll be a good standard chair to compare others to.
I got the chair from amazon!

Bought this a year ago and it still works very well and has held up damn near perfectly.
https://www.amazon.com/Homall-High-Back-Computer-Executive-Ergonomic/dp/B01MRZ02TL/ref=pd_m_ba_rp_of_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=ZQGKB2THBD0W28WKQ4X0 This chair has a high weight limit, initially why I bought it because I was 300's, fortunately I can say that I'm 225 now! Anyways onto the details. Yes it's a cheaper chair. Yes it has flaws. The arm rests get loose easy but can easily be tightened with the tool they give you. Unfortunately mine squeaks from using it when I was heavier. My fiance has one too and hers doesn't squeak at all. It's rather comfortable and would reccomend giving it a shot if you haven't pulled the trigger yet. I was skeptical because of the reviews but overall its been a good chair for 100 bucks.

Ordered and came within 2 days. Was Shocked. Was supposed to come March 28th haha
Sorry, wrong link. I meant this one.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MRZ02TL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is a great chair for gaming with lumbar support, and it won’t break the bank.
I mean, this is the one my physiotherapists recommended after I went to him with a sore back. He uses it at home, and it’s honestly the best built chair I’ve ever seen in an office.
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B000Q5XTE8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_Z8WaxjwJnpFME
But I’m sure you’re also very qualified to be saying there isn’t a chair good enough for our government employees for under $1000 too.
This is the one I've been using. It's a little on the pricer side ($165 on Amazon) but mine's been going strong for 4.5 years with no problems. It's nice and comfortable, and it's done wonders for my back pain. Only minor thing that I've noticed as of late is that the rubber on the armrest is tearing a little, but it's purely cosmetic and I'm coming up on having used it heavily for 5 years now.
Secretlab's Titan series is supposed to be better than even many of the ergonomic mesh options out there. At $400 (USD I presume?) you can get a LOT of chair, and you can even start looking into the Herman Miller options.
I just picked up this chair from amazon, and even at the 120 I spent on black friday it's a great buy. Upgrading from a terribad years old leather chair to this baby was a revelation. And if you want a headrest, you can always buy one for it aftermarket for like 20 bucks.
Looking at the chairs you posted, I would honestly not bother spending so much money on something that's not necessarily name brand. You can get something of similar quality for 200 USD less (the chair I mentioned is very highly rated everywhere I've looked)--if you're trying to spend your full budget, I'd seriously look into Herman Miller and see if you can find any good deals/sales. Patience is going to be key when it comes to buying a decent chair--the prices can fluctuate anywhere from 30 to hundreds of dollars on a whim.
Good luck!
I would recommend my chair to others. I think it's the perfect compromise on price and comfort.

you mean something like this?
u/DXRacer ; Hello, what would your recommendation be for someone 5'6" ~220lbs. I would be in the chair 4-8hrs each night and would be looking to get the additional foot rest as well.
I have a standard sized desk with my computer and a TV mounted 7' from the floor, so I would be using the leanback/tilt often while using my consoles or casting TV.
I feel constrained in my current 'office chair' http://www.amazon.com/Lorell-Executive-High-Back-Chair-Fabric/dp/B000Q5XTE8?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage that I got in 2012.
Thank you for your input!
Another chair that is cheaper is This Chair, it's $150 bucks or so, it's not as good as an actual Herman Miller but for the price its great. I got it two years ago and it's still going great.
The headrest is too thick: I couldn't really sit straight without having my head tilt forward. Leather felt semi-cheap.
The mechanism to tilt back felt like it could break at any time. At least the angle that it could tilt was .. perfect for sleeping. :) And are they encouraging gamers to sleep more? ._. $350 is severely overpriced.
--
Here's a better alternative that I found while reading about Herman Miller chairs: http://www.amazon.com/Lorell-Executive-High-Back-Chair-Fabric/dp/B000Q5XTE8
I use this with no complaints.
My longest session in this chair was ~30 hours and I've had it for over 2 years. Chair looks brand new besides the arms being a little worn down. Sit in this chair for way more time than I should but no back pain or anything.
For chairs: Ergonomic are the best even though they don't look like it. They're comfy and designed for sitting in them for long periods of time.
This one. It was $150 and I've had no issues pulling 20+ hour sessions in it.
Used a wooden kitchen chair before this one, so the upgrade was pretty big. Had it for like 1.5 years now.
It all depends on how much you want to spend. I would recommend go and try different chairs and see what you like. I personally bought this one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000Q5XTE8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_search_detailpage about 2 year ago and I have no problems with it. My only complain would be that I would love to have arms padded with some soft material.
Sorry to jump in on your post but I don't want to make another with this one being made only a day ago. I'm currently in the market for a chair myself. Only problem is mine has to come from Amazon. I have a balance of $ 140 before shipping and taxes. Any suggestions? I've been leaning towards this one

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000Q5XTE8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
very good, reasonably priced chair.mesh back helps with back getting hot, seat is quite comfy, i think mine is slowly loosing its cushion-ness, but still very supportive (had it for over a year). seat also has a lot of adjustment (seat tilt, back tilt, height). only complaints i guess would be there is not any arm rest adjustment and nothing really in the way of lumbar support. but again, for the money, this chair should make anyone happy.
This right here. I own it personally, before this I had a cheap Walmart chair that would destroy my back and bum after a few hours of sitting in it. But this chair... this chair is amazing it's got a really good angle on the recline, the seat is real comfortable and doesn't hurt the ass bone, after a 5-6 hour gaming session no back pain or terrible uncomfort when you get up, and all around totally worth the $150 for it.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000Q5XTE8
I misremembered and looking at my order it was actually $170 when I bought it, but only $154 now. My only complaint is the mesh back has loosened a little bit, but it's still pretty comfortable.

I bought an ergonomic one from Amazon"
If your close to ATL, I have another one of these in our damage sale. $50. A bit heavy to ship at a low price...
I'd recommend getting a proper chair and buying a separate footrest (like this) to put under your desk. Gaming chairs are low quality and don't have proper lumbar/lower back support.
Lorell Executive High-Back Chair $128.43 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000Q5XTE8/
I have a Lorell which is pretty good except for the hydraulic piston which I replaced with a larger one. The mesh is very durable and fairly comfortable.
Just looking, amazon has some cheap mesh chairs and they look to be highly rated. Seat padding looks sub-par but the flip up arms is an awesome feature.
These types are the gold standard gaming chair but they are made for a specific body type and I don't fit that mold even remotely, I'm far too tall and wide for them so I've never even wanted to try them out. This is most likely a knockoff brand. DXRacer is the one brand I've looked at, they've been around a few years.
Heard this one is good.
https://www.amazon.com/Lorell-Executive-High-Back-Chair-Fabric/dp/B000Q5XTE8
edit: had to order the headrest through the US since it wasn't available in Canada.
I got my dxracer for a whopping $103.00 on Monday, but that ship has sailed. =/
I like the mesh back chairs, I use http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000Q5XTE8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00 at work and like it alot.
Got this bad boy a little while ago. Does take some tightening every once and a while.
http://www.amazon.com/Lorell-Executive-High-Back-Chair-Fabric/dp/B000Q5XTE8
I've had this Lorell chair for about a year. It's comfortable and has held up well. You definitely get what you pay for, but it has been a good value so far.
I work from home in this chair and this gets the job done quiet nicecly
There's a lot of choice. A classic office chair, with a headrest, or a gaming chair, etc.
ignore all the other things in this thread and buy these two
https://www.amazon.com/Lorell-Executive-High-Back-Chair-Black/dp/B000Q5XTE8?th=1
If anyone is wondering what chair that was at the end of the video..
Here it is: http://www.amazon.com/Lorell-Executive-High-Back-Chair-Fabric/dp/B000Q5XTE8/
Don't ask how I know, just accept it. . .
Get a mesh back OFFICE chair off of amazon. 150$.
http://www.amazon.com/Lorell-Executive-High-Back-Chair-Fabric/dp/B000Q5XTE8
This is the exact one I have. Puts together in 5 minutes even if you are an idiot. Amazingly comfortable and resilient. Good on your back and butt.
Don't waste money on some other type of chair. The only thing BETTER that you can get is something like an Aeron..but those are anywhere from 700-1500$.
Take it from the people WHO WORK IN THEM...they work.
And for that matter...dont buy anything sponsored by pro gamers.
-Want a good headset for cheap? Get a midrange sennheiser and a modmic. want something a bit better? Get a vmoda m100 crossfade with a vmoda boom mic cable.
-Dont bother with gsync monitors, they wont be around that long. There are software alternatives that are maturing quite well, and by the time you REALLY need that 144hz monitor...you wont need gsync.
-Want louder better sound? for low price get a fiio kilimanjaro 2 e11k. Want one for more expensive? get a good amp/dac, check Head-Fi(website).
-Want a good keyboard and mouse? Dont buy razer.
I use a Roccat MK pro keyboard, after going through three razer mech keyboards...they are just shit. I would recommend a Das Keyboard, But to be honest, I like the function's that gamer keyboards allow, Das doesnt really have that option. Also look up the different switch types, the actuation pressure makes a big difference.....
Good mouse? Get a Steelseries or a Zowie or a good logitech mouse(g502 or so)
-good webcam? get an actual video camera. hook it up to your computer...do research.
I repeat, the Pros get PAID to use the things they do....You do not. Do not constrain yourself to cheaply built things.
But not $500 comfy. lol.
The $100 ones off amazon are worth.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MRZ02TL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the chair shown in the pic. This one is worth imo.
Homall Gaming Chair Office Chair High Back Computer Chair Leather Desk Chair Racing Executive Ergonomic Adjustable Swivel Task Chair with Headrest and Lumbar Support (White) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRZ02TL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_PhQcGb501A3HZ

I think it's the perfect compromise on price and comfort.
https://www.amazon.com/Lorell-Executive-High-Back-Chair-Fabric/dp/B000Q5XTE8/ref=asc_df_B000Q5XTE8/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=168221741416&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17906186971189687042&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt...
you mean something like this?
u/DXRacer ; Hello, what would your recommendation be for someone 5'6" ~220lbs.
I've been leaning towards this one

very good, reasonably priced chair.mesh back helps with back getting hot, seat is quite comfy, i think mine is slowly loosing its cushion-ness, but still very supportive (had it for over a year). seat also has a lot of adjustment (seat tilt, back tilt, height). only complaints i guess would be there is not any arm rest adjustment and nothing really in the way of lumbar support. but again, for the money, this chair should make anyone happy.

Heard this one is good.

edit: had to order the headrest through the US since it wasn't available in Canada.
