god, honeywell black fan. i first got it, the dam thing was $15 a 15" fan or so and just a vortex amazing little bugger. i buy the same unit for twice the price, 10 years later after college and suddenly it's highest setting is worse than the lowest setting of my old one. its weaker than ever and can't blow for crap.
a huge shame because the original one was mighty wonderful for it's size. while the current version is only helpful if you have a few rogue unused tissues.

I have a portable fan I put either on my table or down on the floor. Link to item on Amazon. I get lots of compliments on it from guests and photographers.
I also bring 3 changes of clothes. One to setup in, one to perform in, and one to tear down/drive home in.
I pack a roll of paper towels, but my next gig this weekend (outdoor barn venue in Georgia) I am bringing a small towel. The paper towels get soaked instantly and sometimes leave lint on my face.
Lastly, I would recommend dressing up in vest, shirt, and tie only if the clients requested it. My go-to is dress slacks and a golf style polo (the dry thread type). I got 3 of them at Sam's for $20 each and they are sharp. I have some long sleeve button down shirts that don't show sweat much I will wear if I want to really dress up. I have yet to wear a tie.
Don't be shy about how hard you are working. Other vendors and guests understand. If they see you pushing through it and not letting up they will be more inclined to party, too!

We went through something similar and just ended up getting a small fan that we blew into the crate, and then we took out blankets and just put a towel in there because it doesn't retain much heat. You can also put frozen things in there like a frozen kong (doesn't even need to have food in it, just acting as like an ice pack) and maybe a couple ice cubes.
I got one of these off of amazon and it's pretty good for the price. There's a larger 15 inch model.
If the factory is super hot + humid and you'd probably want to invest in a blower fan.
Assuming you have quick access to the outdoors in a place that you can get a little messy.
- Get a tiny portable fan and a collander.
- Plugin the fan outside pointing upwards and put the collander on top.
- When you're ready to end the roast, quickly take the roaster outside, dump into the collander and turn on the fan.
- Shake collander containing the beans continuously above the fan while it cools.
This will both help the roast cool more quickly and blow off all the chaff that you don't want. Don't worry too much about the chaff lying around, it will blow away naturally within 24 hours, or do and sweep it up. This process worked well for me before upgrading to a Behmor.

not a clip on but I have one these on the top (zip tied) and bottom of my tent for air flow. works great and buddy uses the same for his 4x4 so maybe worth a shot for your 5x5. I definitely want a bigger tent, not sure if fiance would be happy since I just got this tent very recently 😂 Definitely going to play the excuse though 👀🤣 I'll see if my local hardware store has a small one for now. As mentioned, on many ships there is a retractable line. If there isn't I also recommend getting some heavy duty small magnetic hooks on Amazon (at least 25lbs strength or so probably) and some paracord and use that. The hooks come in super handy for other things too...we hung our key card lanyards on them so they didn't get lost and we'd pass them on the way out reminding us to grab them.
Anyway, no matter where we hung our clothes, they never seemed to dry. So the last time I cruised I brought a small fan in my carry on LIKE THIS . Best decision ever! Worth the spot it took up in my duffel bag. Very light, doesn't weigh much.
I'd aim the fan to where the clothes were hanging overnight, it helped give some nice air circulation in the cabin and also helps drown out hallway noises. We brought a small extension cord to make it easier to aim it where we wanted (in our case into the bathroom) And that was handy as well for the extra outlets to charge phones too. Just a regular extension cord, make sure it does not have a surge protecter.
With the fan the clothes would get dry no prob! You can leave fan on when you leave your cabin as well, just make sure to have a peace of paper or card in the switch by door so your elec doesn't turn off while gone. Our room steward said this was no problem.
Anything that moves from Vivosun is probably crap. I had four of their fans and a 6" exhaust fan that none made it past the first grow. Most experienced growers found this out the hard way, just like me.
Not big on the oscillating fans. Just another reason for a fan to fail.
Amazon has these Honeywell fans that are $15 bucks that work very well. I have 10 of them in my three tents. They easily zip tie to your tent uprights.
Get this guy. Rotate it so it's blowing upwards and slap your helmet on top to dry it out/keep it cool between sessions.

I only use it while testing the drives before shucking though. Usually doing three drives at once until they successfully complete preclear on unraid. With the fan, the temperatures remain well within reason.

No problem, that 12k size should be good to go - just wanted to make sure you weren't putting it in a small bedroom. I've not seen the data on these, but like other inverter mini-splits they can throttle the output down to about 20% of max.
I bought a small fan and mounted in the upper corner of my door threshold to circulate air, works very good, and the airflow on high speed can be felt 20 feet away.

One on the ground off the floor and I bought an extra set of top poles and put the base through two of the pols on the top. I also bought some bamboo poles and cut to length to put on the sides to stop the tent from sucking in with the negative pressure.
I test every external drive before shucking them. I like to run one or more passes of PreClear with Unraid. This can take several days on a larger drive. I simply prop up the drives on a makeshift platform. With the Easy Store drives, I keep them with the ports facing down on a platform that has an opening for the cables and use this fan:

The Easy Store drives have slots on top and bottom of the enclosure so having the ports facing down (enclosure in the horizontal position) allows the fan to blow the air through the enclosure. I usually do three or four drives at a time and the fan links above keeps them much cooler than they would be without it.

I’m not a fan expert, but I happened to have a little Honeywell HT900, has 3 speeds and can be angled (so you can put it on the floor and aim it up towards your face for a beat saber session for example.. ~$12 on Amazon.. if you want something a little more powerful maybe the next model up.. HT908 for $24?
