Just need a catch pan, and then you can pour the old oil into the containers the new oil came in. I like the catch pans with spouts to make life easier.
I also really like the oil filter wrenches that fit on top of the filter because they fit into small places, you get better grip, and you get the ratcheting functionality with your socket wrench. Downside is they are size-specific, but definitely worth the money IMO.
