Older book now, early 2000's. Could very well be the inspiration behind all the Backroom Trope for all I know. The book itself is dense, it's laid out in multiple formats with footnotes and interconnected stories. I read it in college.
Amazon actually has a hardcover version right here but I have never heard of or even thought that a book's publishing format would affect how people read it. That's amazing and insane. I think it's time to order this paperback.
I just bought this on Amazon:. You can choose either paperback or hardback. I got the hard back, and it’s a full color 2nd Edition and appears to be complete. I was also nervous about buying it but it worked out.
