This is the best sales book I've found so far.

In March of 2018, I actually started reading a whole bunch of books revolving around this topic. Here are the books I've read so far, links to them on Amazon, and my opinions on them!

How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success in Selling - Frank Bettger (Must Read)
- You might think that a book about selling would only be useful to someone working in sales, but you would be completely misinformed. What is selling? You're essentially just trying to convince someone, right? Convince them to buy a product. What kind of products do you have and who are you trying to convince? A project proposal to your boss? A vacation idea to your significant other? Yourself to a group of interviewers? You are selling things throughout your entire day, so why not be good at it? A must read in my opinion.
How to Win Friends and Influence People - Dale Carnegie (Must Read)
- This book always comes up when talking about books of this nature and there's a reason for that. Written back in 1936 and the content is still ridiculously applicable to today. A similar concept to the first book I mentioned, but more focused on selling yourself and winning people over to your way of thinking. Another must read, and as the book recommends, a must read every year.
Mindfulness - Tessa Watt
- In a world where distractions are constant, this book dives into practices for how to keep you "in the moment". The book utilizes mindfulness exercises as you read and encourages you to practice the subject material frequently. Cool read and a fun way to include meditation in your.
Make Your Bed - William H. McRaven
- Originally a speech aimed at graduating college students, it became so popular it was adapted into a book.Written by a navy Admiral who uses fun and interesting stories from his long career in the military to teach lessons to help you learn how to change the world. Although a short read (can easily be finished in a day), the look into military life was very interesting to me and the topics he touches on are relatable.
The ONE Thing - Gary Keller & Jay Papasan (Must Read)
- Teaches the one thing that is needed in life to lead to extraordinary results. The authors also touch on other tools to help you alone with the one thing and warn about things that are detrimental to you and your success. The authors reference a plethora of studies which add a lot of validity to what they're proposing. Fun story telling and my number 3 must read.

Emotional Intelligence - David Walton
- Teachings on how to know what you or someone else is feeling in the current moment and how to appropriately react to it. Essentially teaching you how to better control your emotions and better be aware of others' emotions. Become better with road rage, reading people, and controlling situations. Very similar writing and use of exercises as Mindfulness.
