I usually write fiction, but I just published a non-fiction book inspired by all the things I have learned as an American living in Italy. There are a lot of things Americans don't know about Italy or get wrong because we base our opinions on t.v. shows or movies (or Mario games), and I wanted to write a book to help others avoid making the same mildly embarrassing mistakes I have.
