First, under-promise and over-deliver. I never ask for referrals, but I sell 2-3 a month and climbing, and that's with a year in the business. I tell them about our referral program, and hand them a stack of cards. Read the book "How to sell 100 cars a month" by Ali Reda and Damian Boudreaux. Ali sells on average between 80 and 120 a month, Damian is out of the selling game, but does talks and books. I met Damian earlier this month, and he's amazing. Last month I did 19 and worked my ass off. I took some of his advice and I'm already at 15.5 with no increase in effort, pacing 22. But you gotta buy in to the methods.
