Hello.
I FIXED THE PLOT HOLES IN HIDEMARKET!
Honestly for all its flaws How to Write a Damn Good Thriller might be the bast craft book I've ever read simply because it helped me fix up Masked Hearts and Hidemarket. Particularly in making me focus on the villain plan, which gives most of these sorts of novels their spine.
I'm WICKED EXCITED about Hidemarket. I've started frankensteining together multiple drafts that have good ideas and filling the gaps with new material. After that? Hoooonnestly as much as I love this novel I also really want to get it off my plate. So once I have a coherent draft that's self-edited and formatted up to my current standards I might see if I can get it proofread for a reasonable price and self-publish it.
So that's my main project for at least Q1 this year. Also since I don't have fanfic to distract me any more I can do some erotica and horror shorts as self-publishing practice. I published an erotica in December that netted me around $18 in its butterfly-short lifespan, and that's pretty good for something I was probably going to write for free anyway. That zombie novella also might be fun to post and see if it's very trope-aware take on zombie survival hits a nerve.
So that's my life for the next few months. Good luck have fun!
