Try NaNoWriMo this November! I'm doing that. I have a story in mind since 2 years ago, but I'm writing something different, because I've written poetry and short stories, but never novels. I've read this book recently, a really quick and direct text, and it inspired me to write something different without too much pressure of being that novel I dream about (something with deep characters and a story that feels like a punch), I think I'm not ready for that, but I want to start with something.

This may sound weird, but I think a smaller success would push me to continue, because I feel I'm not wise enough to write something like that, my role model is Donna Tartt, so it's something like that, those shoes are too big right now, I'm going for something fast paced and fun and scary, like a game, you know, to simply enjoy the ride.
I even like that idea of publishing for Kindle, I just want something to be out there, no matter if it's not perfect.
You probably want to write that novel right now, that's ok, too. I think NaNoWriMo would help to concentrate on writing, and stop editing before you even begin! Good luck, fellow, writer
