I spent a lot (45%) of my studying time just learning where each of the equations are located in the book of equations they will give you, which you can download from the NCEES website, and about 40% of my time learning how to use all of the math and equation functions of that calculator. A majority of the test will be knowing which equations to use. I don't remember anything tricky and very little setup for the questions.

The last 15% of my time was spent doing sample questions from a book like this.

I used it happily for a while, but then I discovered the world of RPN and I could never use a conventional calculator again. First I got hooked on the HP 33s, but now that I have an Android phone I just do everything with RealCalc in RPN mode.
