What is Reddit's opinion of HP Chromebook 4GB RAM, 16GB eMMC with Chrome OS, Black?

My Chromebook is the HP 11 (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01KWCIC8C), and my Printer is an HP LaserJet 1200.

I've only tested with 2 pages, one was a shipping label PDF, the other was a Google Doc that said "test test test test". Both took 5 minutes a piece. If there is anything specific I can print out to help let me know and I still do it this evening.

Do you reckon this little guy would work? As in, processing power wise. I would never touch an HP but its a cheap chromebook, so whatever.

I would worry about future-proofing, but my mom's 2gig hp chromebook still works fine for browsing. When I leave a task manager open to see memory usage, it definitely fills up fast, but the slowdown isn't too bad, and I don't feel the need to micromanage the number of tabs I have open. Still, I'd go for 4gigs if possible. Maybe try looking used on swappa or ebay?

Here's an 11" HP chromebook (11-v010nr) with 4 gigs of ram for under 200. But personally I wouldn't get anything smaller than 12.5"--11.6 was too cramped for me.

Adelaide? Try the local PC store and check out the Chromebooks on offer. If you can wait for a bit you can get on Amazon and see which one suits you. I found a few but I'm not sure what is your cup of tea.

Type & Functionality

No need for tablet functionality. Decent display would be nice. No need for touchscreen. Would like something I can carry between rooms and type on my lap. Definitely not a desktop.

Build Quality

While I would like something that looks nice, I will take function and lower prices over looks.
