Help me spend this $25 Amazon gift card ? I have a NooElec NESDR SMArt (25MHz - 1750MHz) and this RP SMA mag mount and I'm looking for suggestions for wide band/general purpose antennas. The only frequency I currently have in mind is 433MHz, otherwise I'm just looking for some wide band/general purpose suggestions.
50 feet with a few solid walls between.
My backup plan was run these through the ceiling to put the antennas in a more central location. Turns out it was not needed in my case which surprised me. We have a pretty RF rich environment :)
You might not have to move the AVR. There are antenna extension cables that would let you move the antennae to a better location:

Any wireless extender that does not use two radios will automatically halve your bandwidth at best, as a single radio would have to receive and transmit the same packets.
You can buy RP-SMA extension cables, with or without stands for the antenna. They do cause a minor amount of single strength loss.

You will need 3 of these however, which adds up. You might as well return your wireless adapter and get a better one.

That one is wireless AC capable, so if you have a modern access point it will be faster. It also has a mounting base and cables for the antennas. The heatsink is also better so reliability could be higher.
