NEMA 5-20R outlets are for 125v @ 20amps. My garge has this outlet for my washer and gas dryer, and the panel has a 20 amp breaker for the outlet. So some homes can have outlets have will support 16amp 120v. These outlets looks different, search for NEMA 5-20R. Here is a NEMA 5-20R GFCI outlet on Amazon
The picture that OP posted shows a NEMA 5-15R GFCI outlet. This outlet is only rated for 125v @ 15amps.
