There's a special mounting plate you have to buy for the MSI monitors. I used to have the 100hz version of that panel, and had to get this to make it work:

There might be an updated version, so research it before you purchase.

The mount adapter you indicated should work fine. Though personally I avoid "grapple" type mounts (for lack of a better term), except for smaller screens. It's a personal paranoia and preference.

It would likely come with longer screws that should be able to reach through to the monitor. The bad part about this compared to the grapple mount is that you're subject to dipping/tilting due to the number of pieces between the monitor and the load-bearing part of the mount. So keeping it aligned might be more difficult. I'd get some extra washers or spacers so you can get a more secure mount if you find this to be the case.

More than what you need, but probably good to keep around the house anyway. You never know when you mignt need it. You might not even need the plate adapter with this as long ash the screw holes are still aligned properly.
