Haha I know the feeling! Don't be too hard on yourself, majesty palms are notoriously tricky to keep happy, especially over the winter. Misting definitely doesn't hurt, (I do it just because I enjoy the routine) however it does very little to address humidity needs. This is the humidifier I use and it's helped my entire plant family tremendously. I keep my place at a minimum of 55% RH throughout the winter. Good luck!

i got this one because i was having major low humidity issues. it has a built in sensor to set humidity. no issues so far besides one i made my self. comes with a little remote too. pretty accurate when looking at hydrometer too.
