May I recommend these bad boys for it
HyperX Pudding Keycaps - Double Shot PBT Keycap Set with Translucent Layer, for Mechanical Keyboards, Full 104 Key Set, OEM Profile, English (US) Layout - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087QTWCTQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_tvBbGbAERS0NJ
they are the HyperX pudding keycaps: https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Pudding-Keycaps-Translucent-Mechanical/dp/B087QTWCTQ
They don't include the media buttons, so I left the numpad stock as well. I do enjoy the way everything to the right of the arrow keys looks different and almost as it has been tacked on later.
They are hyperx pudding keycaps. Any keycap recommendations? I was just thinking the hyperx pudding ones on amazon. Anything that you find aesthetically pleasing and isnt overly expensive. These are for an anne pro 2 btw.

I picked up the hyperx pudding keycaps locally.
They feel slightly more solid than the default (ABS?) keycaps, but, I've been advised they don't wear like ABS over time, which is the main reason I got them. They also allow more of the lighting from the KB through, if that's your thing.
Try these, I think they should fit the RK84:

Red dragons are a good place to start to get a good backlit mechanical board without spending hundreds of dollars. Check out Amazon for “Red Dragon Keyboard”
Red switches are soft and quiet, brown switches are medium (quiet still but you will feel some tactile feedback), blue switches are the really clicky and tactile ones.
If you grab one of the $50 boards and have a little left over id recommend grabbing a set of pudding keycaps linked below. They’ll feel better and show off the lights more. Very easy to swap out even if you’ve never done it before.
Any OEM profile caps should fit. Amazon has plenty of "affordable" options like these HyperX pudding pbt going for $20 usd right now. You'll have a tough time finding pudding macOS caps though so you'll probably be forced to choose between having one or the other.
The most cs pg life hell are waiting why I made up ur head in all your learning yoga everyday and i am looking for 2 year visa may not a steady remittance because of police are HyperX Pudding Keycaps
I disliked the idea of the ABS caps as well but they feel really good.
Replacement wise I could not find anything that low profile that would allow the RGB lights to shine through directly. This is a decent alternative though IMO, but definitely a different look afterwards.

The spacing of the stabilizers on the space bar are ever so slightly different than other keyboards so might need adapting but the rest should fit normally. I tried the caps from my Corsair K63 wireless and they all fit except the space bar.
Honestly, the Hyper X Pudding Caps was the first (and as it turns out only) mod I did to the Anne Pro. I think it was like $20-30 for the set.
Here they are. Double-shot PBT, good shine-through. They're not the best caps in the world, but they're excellent for that price.
Here on Amazon , tho note that the FN and menu key to the right of the keyboard will not be switchable with the Razer Blackwidow Elite, however all other keys look and work great.
Keycaps are HyperX puddings. Can't help identifying the board itself, as it's covered by those stupid anime images (I don't like anime, which I know is an unpopular opinion here on reddit, but whatever).
I could be wrong but this looks like a mixture of two sets. Not sure what the white ones are, but the black ones look like HyperX Pudding Keycaps
I bought the TKL version earlier in the year and I absolutely love it. It looks and feels great and I can't believe I used a membrane keyboard happily for so long.
I also bought the HyperX Pudding Keycaps after a couple months and love it even more now.
C9 vs Kinesis? I wanted the closest-to-standard layout, and I must have a number pad, preferably attached. Way too much muscle memory with the MS Natural layout and way too little desire to learn a new layout.
To me, the C9 is as comfortable as the Natural 4K when the halves are together. Split them apart and it’s an improvement. I can tweak each half separately to get the exact position I need for my fingers to naturally line up with their respective home rows.
I’ve swapped out all the letter, number, arrow, F*, home/end/etc, and numpad keys with the HyperX Doubleshots: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087QTWCTQ The MS Natural has a small gap between the Caps Lock and the A key while the C9 does not. After switching to the C9, I realized I’d been subconsciously using that gap to locate my left hand onto the keyboard. The HyperX keys are a different texture, so I’ve gotten used to feeing for that texture change from the C9 smooth Caps Lock to the HyperX textured A. Plus, the pudding keys let more of that sweet RGB light out.
Something with a more traditional mewchanical experience would be nice. I also am willing to pay more for better quality keycaps from the getgo, I bought these for my steelseries and they felt great! Is this something I'd have to pay a huge premium for or potentially go the custom route?
Yeah, the K8 is definitely near the top of my list - though it comes with ABS keycaps, so I would probably need to replace it with something like the HyperX Puddings otherwise my fingers will make the keys smooth and shiny. Hope you enjoy the K8!
They're not exactly the same keycaps that come stock on most HyperX keyboards but here's a link to their pudding caps
I’m assuming you got the default abs keycaps when I say this but you should probably invest in some pbt keycaps because cheap abs tends to get shiny over time. These hyperx pudding pbt keycaps look nice and are relatively cheap. https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Pudding-Keycaps-Translucent-Mechanical/dp/B087QTWCTQ
I found mine on amazon but I'm sure you can find them in other places if you want to.
Looks like they wanted to have their own font and branding on the space bar.
The GMMK boards by Glorious PC Gaming Race are all solid choices, (Full-size 104, TKL, and 60%) and would be a good starting point if you’re looking for a full 104 or a TKL that you’ll be able to tinker with in the future. All 3 of the pre-built boards come with Gateron Browns by default, and is priced at $110 USD. (You can choose to customize the pre-built boards with other Gateron or Kailh switches.)
Glorious also offers “barebones” kits for I believe $80 usd (not 100% sure on the prices of the BB kits) where you can purchase a Case, PCB, and Plate, and then you have the choice to buy a variety of switches and Keycaps from glorious themselves, or buy your switches and Keycaps 3rd party from another site, but I would recommend just getting it all from glorious!
If the barebones kits are something that you may enjoy, The company sells a “Glorious Panda” tactile switch that I’ve heard is quite good but I’ve yet to try them myself.
They feature a Hot-Swappable PCB which if you’re unfamiliar with it means the switches in the keyboard are plug and play and you can change them out for any mechanical “3-pin” switch (or 5-pin if you want to clip them but that’s not exactly beginner stuff.)
The major benefit to a Hot-swap keyboard is that if you want to change up the feel of your board or try out new switches, you don’t need to go through desoldering all your switches, or ultimately buying a new keyboard.
As for Keycaps, If you want something that will last a long time, your best bet is double shot PBT Keycaps. HyperX makes a really nice set of either black or white pudding Keycaps with excellent shine through for about $25-$30 usd.
It truly comes down to personal preference but I hope this has helped you in any way (:
There are many many keyboards to choose from out there, the best advice I can give you is research keyboards with the features you want, and you’ll more than likely be able to find something with the help of the people here, and google of course.
They're stock but I sanded the sides off, the HyperX pudding keycaps are the closest I could find
Well, that makes it simple.
Draconic isn't a brand. It's a single keyboard by Redragon: https://www.redragonzone.com/collections/keyboard/products/draconic-k530
The keycaps don't match because the Draconic K530 comes in black or white, and I can see how that's confusing. But replacing keycaps with a custom set is common.

Corne and case. You're in $38 for the board kit, and need the rest to finish it out:
So for the absolute base build, you're in $104 for a functioning split board. A few optional, but recommended upgrades:
This would bring the total cost up to $143, but the two I'd really recommend the most would be the screens and cable (I seriously use those cables on everything now, 100% recommended), which would just bump you to $123
If you want to do wireless, you'll need to swap the microcontrollers for nice!nano's and batteries, bringing you to $154 I think. I'm not 100% on this as I haven't done a wireless build yet myself, but I'm pretty sure I counted that right for 2x n!n kits, 2x oled's, and no cables.

Notes: This can also be done with the Lily58 and case (or sofle once restocked), but using Corne here because less components=cheaper. I don't have any affiliation with the links above, I just have them all saved because I want to do this build myself.
hahaha. I gotchu fam. Randomly saw your post read the comments and was wondering how has no one suggested these!
I don't actually know if u can put 3rd party keycap but these are the Hyperx pudding keycaps and Razer keycap upgrade set on amazon which are PBT and fairly good keycaps set
but if you were looking for something more expensive and better quality, maybe try GMK sets? that could be too expensive, but if you are willing to pay the extra dollar, a GMK set would be a good choice. There are many ready to ship GMK sets on Drop
if you were looking for something cheaper, maybe u can check mechkeys or other Indian keyboard sellers, there should be some PBT keycaps.

you could also try out the keychron retro keycaps, which are PBT but are slightly more expensive, and personally, I don't like the font.
you may be able to find cheaper PBT keycaps on amazon, but most of the recommended ones may be cheap, but don't actually have a proper profile. They just say that it's slightly lower than OEM so it could be DSA profile, but I don't actually know.
there are several different keycaps set which are PBT sets that u can find, it's just finding the perfect set for you. In my preference, a keycap set that isn't too expensive, but has insane value, would be the Razer keycap upgrade set.
These might work, I bought the white set for my K8:
Not sure about the keyboard but the keycaps are HyperX Pudding Keycaps
Hi guys, I'm looking to upgrade my G512SE UK layout keyboard to black PBT pudding keycaps, similar to these : https://www.amazon.de/-/en/HyperX-Pudding-Keycaps-English-Backlit/dp/B087QTWCTQ
However these aren't in the correct layout. Would ye know of any similar sets (or a website with the right layout) that ship to Ireland?

Thanks for your help. I confirmed the measurements using this chart. I don't need customization, so I'll think I'll go with this set. I found someone in the comments section who bought it for the same keyboard as me and it ended up looking pretty good. Also it's cheap. :)
Hyperx pudding key caps, here's the link
Since its a full size kb its not any special layout so any keycap set will work, the world is your oyster regarding keycap options
Some suggestions
Hyper X pudding cap set cheap set for $25 https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Pudding-Keycaps-Translucent-Mechanical/dp/B087QTWCTQ
Ducky Pudding set, due to the crisper legends its a bit higher priced at $40 https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=5790

The keycaps I have on my keyboard are HyperX Pudding keycaps,22 Tai-Hao rubber keycaps in purple & 22 Tai-Hao rubber keycaps in neon blue.I have two keyboards (one for downstairs and one for upstairs) so I just swapped the WASD on both kits for each keyboards SEE HERE :)
I’d maybe just use this as a opportunity to get some new pudding keycaps. Any new keycaps really if you wanna mix it up.
These are on pre-order right now, but I have used Ducky keycaps in the past, and I think that they are fine keycaps.
From what I have heard, Vortex's PBT keycaps are also a good buy for around the same price, here on MechanicalKeyboards
Another set that I would recommend are these HyperX pudding keycaps. These are a great value for the price, and if you have some good LED's they shine super nice through them, but I am not sure if puddings are what you're really looking for.
Not the guy you asked but probably these ones https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087QTWCTQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_K44QBA4AKM1ASTH8JGD9
I know that you want brown switches but box white's are smooth and tactile like brown switches, but in my opinion box white is better by far. So I put this keyboard together for you, the bad part is you will have to build it. The gmmk has every thing you need, but you need keycaps and switches with it so that is there too. I would recommend lube but that is optional. so try these materials to make it.

Your welcome; - Furks
Couldn't find any good deal from those brand in amazon. The best budget deal I can find so far is HypperX one https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Pudding-Keycaps-Translucent-Mechanical/dp/B087QTWCTQ. Do you think it's a good deal?
So both of these would work right. I like the second ones better for the looks. But the the first ones seem higher quality. What would be the best.

Do the HyperX pudding keycaps have the space key without the HyperX logo on it?
I ended up purchasing these: https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Pudding-Keycaps-Translucent-Mechanical/dp/B087QTWCTQ to fit onto the switches. If you don't mind a more enclosed look, they work perfectly. I rightly don't understand why Roccat doesn't sell spare keys.
Also ended up using my Roccat spacebar key due to the HyperX being a tad clunky.
I use pudding caps on my bw elite. This hyperx set for all but the bottom row use this bottom row set. fits perfectly, the sets are probably produced by the same manufacturer as well because the both feel exactly the same and looks amazing if the pudding caps are your thing.

Since op hasn't said anything here they are. Its the HyperX pudding caps and you have to order the bottom separately. Just did the switch myself and I love it!

I was looking at different pudding key caps and found a few different options, I was wondering if anyone here knows if there is any real difference between them all or if they are all about the same?
And different ali express options:

My second question would be how to see if switches I pick are compatible with rgb backlighting of the keys? I have seen some specific SMD switches, but for other switches, lets say Gateron ink switches do these support RGB backlighting?

You're right the stock keycaps look great. i had a hard time deciding what keycaps I wanted to put on. The white keyboard is super clean and looks amazing on its own.
I was wondering if there are any differences between the hyperx pudding keycaps and the havit pudding keycaps, since there is only a $5 (us) difference. Also I was wondering if outemu brown switches are good, I am thinking of getting a Tecware Phantom 104. Thanks if you help.

Black one, not sure what version it is
My first question is why you're getting MX Blues.
I would seriously consider BOX Whites, after having a feel of clickbar switches, every MX Clickjacket switch feels comparatively mushy. Whites match the weight of MX Blues and sharpen the bump. All BOX switches are compatible with MX-mount switches.
I would suggest the GMMK TKL (and here's a review), it's got per-key lighting and quite a lot of customizability. You can even get "aura" keycaps that are PBT, but identical pudding keycaps by HyperX keycaps (also PBT) are cheaper. However, you may be missing out on this level of individual-key-customizability and switching keys to your taste that's found on most mainstream keyboards that have QMK support.
As a typist myself, I first started out with MX Blue switches, because it was the only thing I knew, and instantly found them too soft. Since I have heavy hands, I looked for something heavier that would be forgiving of mistakes so I could bounce off the keys without hitting them if I was about to press the wrong one. I picked BOX Navies myself, another clickbar switch, and I've not looked back since.
I also play videogames. The weight of those switches show there, but it should be less an issue with the whites.
Either way, hopefully this is comprehensive and my personal advice lines up alright with what you need out of your keyboard. And excuse the double-spacebars, I have keychatter from the spacebar.
Spacebar:
https://www.wasdkeyboards.com/cherry-mx-stabilizer-spring-for-spacebar.html
As for the missing keycaps, you can find those on amazon by searching for keycaps. I recommend something like this:
HyperX Pudding Keycaps - Double Shot PBT Keycap Set with Translucent Layer, for Mechanical Keyboards, Full 104 Key Set, OEM Profile, English (US) Layout - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087QTWCTQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_eBmeFbVMPZCDZ
They make the rgb pop out. I have the white ones, they’re really nice. You’ll have to swap out the old keycaps** though which isn’t hard to do. Just pull em off and pop on the other ones.
Just a reminder than the PBT Keycaps are $25 new on Amazon.
This is actually somewhat difficult. Some of the marketing material for the Redragon K556 RGB have photos of pretty normal switches, but other photos show switches that are shorter than standard. (The technical term could be "low profile", but these wouldn't be thin enough for that designation.) I can't tell if this is because they are actually special or if the people making the marketing materials didn't know how to resize images properly. I'm going out on a limb to guess the latter. In either case, if you order keycaps from Amazon, you can return them easily.
I'll talk generally about keycaps first, then about specific ones you can buy. Generally, if your keyboard has a + shaped stem, it's an MX style switch and will be compatible with MX Style keycaps. Things get a bit dicey on the bottom row, as some manufacturers like to mess with the width of the spacebar and other keys. The Redragon K556 looks to be pretty standard in this regard, fortunately.
As far as keycap quality is concerned, the best distinction you can make is with the material. PBT plastic is considered better than ABS. (yes, other redditor, I can hear you and your clicky switches telling me that some of the highest quality keycaps are made of ABS, but let me remind you that the Redragon K556 costs $65, and I doubt Cypherus wants to spend $50 on keycaps.) PBT is famous for being much more durable than ABS, so your keycaps will have a much nicer texture, and that texture will last longer.
My top two recommendations for keycaps are:
The new HyperX Pudding keycaps.
https://www.amazon.com/HyperX-Pudding-Keycaps-Translucent-Mechanical/dp/B087QTWCTQ/
These keycaps allow for MAXIMUM RGB if you're into that kind of thing, and as a bonus they're dirt cheap. (for Amazon, and PBT, and backlight compatibility.) HyperX recently improved the font on these keycaps; there is a slightly older listing with an inferior font that you should avoid. You can distinguish between the old and new fonts by making sure that there are no "gaps in the letters" which, for example, make O look like U.
Second, I'd recommend the Razer PBT keycap set.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZPRSWPZ/
I'd recommend the Razer keycaps for the opposite reason of the HyperX keycaps: These have a more traditional font and reduce the amount of RGB lighting. This can give the keyboard a more traditional and refined look. Again, there is better quality available in this style if you want to spend more money.
I should close this message by saying that I might be wrong about these being decent keycap sets to buy on a budget. There might be incredible $20 keycap sets available that ship out in 2 weeks, and I am just too naïve to know about them. I'm still pretty new to this hobby myself.
HyperX pudding keycaps are great from amazon are great!

I have a set of them which I can try the bottom row for you to make sure that they do work, I just have to pull them out of my other keyboard and plug em in the Razer Huntsman Elite, but from what I have heard these work with the Razer Huntsman Elite!
