Simpler than that. He was killed because he fucked up the Bay of Pigs in Cuba (where the mob had lots of financial interests before Castro) and allowed his brother to go after prominent mob figures.

Frank Sheeran admitted that he transported multiple rifles (!!!) for a job in "Dallas."

The mob wiped out Kennedy. His father was deep with mob ties.

But somehow nobody talks about that, because I think people realize it's the truth, and it's too scary to admit. LBJ, who is not a good guy, just profiteered off it.

What's truly amazing is the depth of the powerful (and deadly) people involved with Hoffa and the Mob. In light of the new JFK papers: those who have the capacity should read the book mentioned above for insight. John Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy, Hoffa, (all murdered) we're all in very deep with the mob (and cia, FBI for that matter) ergo POLITICS. Bobby John Jimmy and MLK were murdered for their respective powers to CHANGE the status quo.

Coupe de grais are not uncommon in history. Power shifts hands in many ways everyday. Governments and organizations are interested in maintaining order as they wish it to be; troublemakers are often dealt with.

At least for Hoffa, it's clear through study he became a nuisance for the powers in his circle.

Regarding the story, it's very interesting to me that all the news regarding the book <em>I Heard You Paint Houses</em> overlooks the fact that Frank Sheeran flat-out admits that he was the one who killed Jimmy Hoffa. They all say something like "allegedly was involved with the Hoffa disappearance." It's like they're afraid of getting sued if they say "Frank Sheeran, who confessed to the author and former prosecutor Charles Brandt that he killed Hoffa..."

Leading scholars and former investigators on the Hoffa disappearance state that "Sheeran's confession... solves the Hoffa mystery" and similar sentiments.

Reading the book though, I can see why people are skittish about touching on this story. It has some very dangerous accusations in it, and some of the things that are implied are flat-out blasphemy from the standpoint of United States law enforcement.
