You absolutely can. The Goldman's sued for the rights to the book and won back in 2007. They published it under the title If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer. You can buy it pretty much anywhere. Here's an Amazon link.
Not exactly. It wasn't leaked it was legally published. The Goldman's sued for rights to the book and won the rights to publish and 90% of the profits. They retitled it If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer and published it. You can buy it pretty much anywhere. Here's an Amazon link.
Wow, that was…something. Tiny illegible gray letters: “If.” Big black red letters: “I DID IT.” Written by O.J. Simpson. Officially authorized version by The Ron Goldman Foundation for Justice. What the literal f.
> Is it legal to publish a book that depicts your fantasy on how you would kill some real person?
Hell OJ Simpson wrote a book where he described how he would have done the killings "If he was the killer".
I mean, he wrote a god damn book about it.
Granted I've never read the book or even a summary. But it's pretty fucking tone deaf to call it "If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer".
>No, it doesn't always work that way at all. Look at OJ Simpson as an example.
😑again oj

Put out a book, that detailed things only known in the investigation like his shoes, which theres only 300 of and none in the united states which is what the civil case was about
Link to the Amazon listing for the book.
You have to look pretty hard for the "IF". That's fantastic
Yep.
It's a common thing for a criminal to confess by way of 'if I haaaaad done it, I'd have done this... but totally didn't do it,' while explaining really specific details only someone who committed the crime would know.

The Goldmans went after it I believe, because they go after everything, god bless 'em, so they get all the $$ from it.
Subjunctive "if" is holding the weight of the world like atlas in that sentence. It is like OJ Simpson's book If I Did It and then be offended by people's presumption of guilt.
They attempted an insurrection and came closer than 4 years of the Confederacy ever did, and the Juice totally killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
He wrote a book about how he did it. Hell the book is titled "^^^^^If I did it. Confessions of the killer" where he goes over actually doing the crime.
And while he was acquitted in the criminal case, he lost all the subsequent civil cases that don't have the same standard of beyond reasonable doubt.
I thought they recalled and buried that book because it was in such poor taste and received scathingly negative publicity, but here it is on Amazon. I guess where there is a dollar, there is a way.
"If I did it: Confessions of the killer"
which like, come on..
Is this like the musical version of O.J. Simpson's book "If I Did It"?
Man, do I have the book for you!

You really need to zoom in to see the "If" at the top of the "I", and not only is the lettering tiny, it's also very low contrast.
"If I did it" - by OJ Simpson was never released by the publisher. In 2007, a Florida bankruptcy court awarded the rights to the Goldman family to satisfy part of the civil judgement. The book was then renamed "If I did it - Confessions of a killer" and it has this cover, which looks too say "I did it" at first glance:
Reminds me of another book; If I Did It by OJ Simpson
He didn’t.
his book If I Did It is basically this

Perhaps writing an eyewitness account would be enough? If I Did It
But double jeopardy means more money in the second round. Or, you know, in publishing. http://www.amazon.com/If-Did-It-Confessions-Killer/dp/0825305934
OJ Simpson wrote a book called If I Did It
He published a book in which he describes how he hypothetically would have committed the murders. Meanwhile, Mike Gilbert claims to describe how he helped OJ get away with murder.
No, that was the original cover. The Goldmans changed it to this
reminds me of someone else
