Whatever fits the desk and your size preference.
I use https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00O1U19OG/ which I think is probably discontinued by now as it's a shape I've always used.
Just check mousemat on amazon. SteelSeries QCK I think are widely used if you want a known branded option.
I use this ikross thing, perfect size for me. QCK+ is too big, and every other mousepad apart from ones that used to come with graphics cards are too small, width wise, they are like squares and I personally prefer the rectangular ones, lol.
Also the specific mouse & mousepad are hugely important for CSGO.
This type of movement is normal usually. Notice the forearm vs wrist movement. Also much better for ergonomics.
Big Quality Mousepads
Big Cheap Mousepads
You just need to build muscle memory. Of course you will be bad at first, just like everything in life.
Also the specific mouse, mousepad and sensitivity setting are hugely important for CSGO.
5000 Real Sensitivity should be about 3.25" for one 360 turn. A QcK is 12.6" so 3 and a half turns is a good estimate.
But yes, way way too fast.
Its overpriced for what it is. It is also way too thin. QcKs are only worth the money if they are on sale.

/r/mechanicalkeyboards -- This is more personal and not really mandatory for performance. As long as your keyboard has Nkeyrollover.
Razer and Steelseries, as well as other "Gaming" brands are overpriced for what they are. Cloth on top of neoprene rubber.
Control = Course Weave for friction, Speed = Fine Weave for less friction. This is 100% preference, I know people that use speed pads and use their arm/hand for friction to add control. Super cheap stock mousepads are usually "control" as it is the default material when buying cloth neoprene. Fine weave is often shinier so you will be able to tell instantly.
Some mousepads will be plastic, or cloth coated with a plastic to allow the mouse to glide as well.
Stitched edges will cost more but the pad will last longer.
iKross has many sizes and are pretty cheap.
Glorious PC Gaming Race makes very high quality pads. I currently use the XL Heavy and it is a much high quality than my QcK heavy.
Or you can buy a huge sheet and cut it yourself.
This is the one I use

It's honestly great, doesn't slip and has a smooth surface. Plus, it's really cheap
