I have compression gloves and I love them. Mine are fingerless so I can still use my phone and other touch devices. I haven’t had a flare, but anytime I feel a little swollen or stiff, I wear them and feel better.
^ Voltaren is good. It was prescription and it’s OTC now. I haven’t really used it but I know others with arthritis that love it.
I purchased these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GAOHSY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They are Imak joint support compression gloves and I paid just under $18 for them. I've heard from others that Walmart carries them, but I can't say I've looked for or seen them myself; but you may want to keep it in mind in case you have a tight budget.
The gloves really do help...
I use these, and I love them.

There's also RA compression gloves. I bought the IMAK ones. They do help. I wear mine as much as I can, not just as I'm sleeping. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B001GAOHSY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Good luck!!!
I like the IMAK brand. Used to be able to find them in stores, but now only on Amazon in my area.
