Male here - big lingerie fan (on my female partner, I don't wear lingerie myself), so take this with that in mind.
I love seeing my wife in lingerie. I get a kick from shopping and buying lingerie for her. I keep up with styles, read about it, watch for sales. As /u/furryworries mentioned, Lingerie Addict is a great follow.
But let's be honest: lingerie is kind of a strange thing. For my wife, wearing it doesn't feel natural for her. We've discussed this before. She wears it for me, not for her. That said, we've had a lot of fun together buying lingerie, her trying it on for me. As we've done this together, she's found certain things that she feels really sexy in, that she enjoys wearing. Other items are things I find extremely sexy on her, but she's not into (mostly it's anything with lots of straps or is complicated to put on). Some things I'm into, and she's not, but she doesn't mind wearing them. Our Venn diagram sweet spot is well-made, classy bodysuits.
Then there are women who have discovered a love for lingerie in wearing it for themselves (Lingerie Addict has a good book on this).
I say all that to acknowledge that the mental block is shared by my wife, and that's ok, and it's ok to be self-conscious about it, and it's ok to also talk about it, and talk about finding yalls own Venn diagram. We all need to acknowledge that our culture imposes a lot of pressure on women for body shape and type, and it's only in the last few years where lingerie purveyors have started to use models that look like the people who would be buying it. Lingerie reveals a lot more than normal clothing, so that's definitely a mental block for some.
I'd suggest browsing some good brands together to see what might work. Some that won't break the bank but are generally well made are Bluebella, Blush Lingerie, Playful Promises, & Mimi Holiday.
