I had the same concerns as you about the grain free diet. I was giving my Aussiedoodles Nature's Domain Salmon & Sweet Potato from Costco and decided to switch after hearing about the possible link to heart disease. After researching different brands, I settled on Instinct Be Natural- Salmon & Brown Rice. It's a small kibble with a raw freeze dried coating. I add a bit of water to the kibble and it makes a "gravy" my dogs really love. It is offered in beef, chicken & lamb flavors as well.
