My apologies, I should have been more specific about the cellphone mount. It has a suction base that I adhered to the mirror. Here is the model from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JUXPHWE. It is mounted at almost eye level. I can take some photos and share after work today.

I have the above dash / window mount for my phone. It works great if I want to use it as a GPS or a dash cam. It isn't too expensive, and it sticks very well. If you want to move it, just take a credit card to pull the sticky pad off the surface, then wash it with water only. Good as new after that - you can stick it anywhere and it won't budge.

It is good for devices that are 2.3"-3.5" in width. My iPhone 5S fits perfect.

This one works for me. Sticks on the dash amazingly, easily adjustable.
