This one has been solid ever since I first used it. Mounted since last winter next to my shifter knob it's handled all sorts of phones light bulky or heavy (Samsung note 9 and xiaomi mi note series among the largest so far) as well as quick acceleration switching from eco to fast sport mode. I'd say just keep the inside temperature regulated with a windshield cover during summer as higher temps weaken the adhesive on the suction cup mount.
Of course you'll never really know unless you buy and try. Good luck.
I use this and I love it, holds my heavy phone/case and doesn’t move around. I like it cause I had the manual clamp one and it didn’t hold the phone well enough unless I used both hands to squeeze it. With this I don’t even have to pay really any attention after getting used to where it is.

I use a iottie mount and charger mounted to the right side of my console.

Right. I was not going to take a risk. I dont need to be in a wreck no matter whose fault it would be. I use the mount to look at my phone (gps) but the way it sits, it’s easy to hit the camera and record. It was somewhat mentioned but take a look at this one:

I have been using it for a week and has been flawless. I have the dash mount but they do make a vent mount version.
A little pricey at $60 but after looking relentlessly at reviews before making the purchase this seemed to work out for me. I was tired of constantly plugging my phone back in after a delivery. I have an older phone and my battery drains fairly quickly.
Not to mention it can be completely written off on your taxes (or should be) as a business expense.
Get one of the iottie ones. They are highly rated.
This is the one I have.
Can't go wrong with iOttie from my experience. From what I can find it's capable of 10W charging. Not sure if that would be true for the S20 FE but one can assume. I don't use wireless charging in my car and have a mount from ProClip. Not sure if you can find one with 15W charging though which the S20 FE Supports. Haven't really looked.
The iOttie mounts are one of the best.... I have been using them for 4 years, 2 cars and I can swear by it. They also come with wireless charging options if you want to spend the extra money, and yes, the wireless charging is totally worth it. Check em out in Amazon.

I agree with the OP. I could not be happier with my Pixel 4XL. I really thought I would miss the fingerprint reader from my Pixel 2 XL however, the face recognition on the 4 is fantastic (YMMV, IMHO) and has never not unlocked my phone. Even in my bedroom at night with no lights on!
I find the phone snappy, and responsive. I enjoy the wireless charging and got an iOttie auto sensing dashboard mount and I link that below.
The best thing I like me about the Pixel is the early updates. Now that the updates are coming straight from the Play store (Android 10 Feature, not exclusive to Pixel) I know that my carrier is not trowing bloatware in the updates!!
~~The wireless car charger is already available on Amazon in case anyone wants it immediately. Obviously you can't use the Google Store credit on it.~~

Edit: u/dubcakebaker pointed out that this is a different model
I use an iOttie phone mount that charges wirelessly. As in, there is no cord from my phone to the mount/charger, but of course the charger itself needs juice, so it has a cord that connects to a 12V outlet thing (that has one usb port on it for charging additional things).
I used some tiny cheap sticky clips that I got on Amazon to kind of guide the cord down to the left of my steering wheel, and then over and down to the 12V outlet, to keep it out of the way. There are parts of my dash that are smooth, so I put the clips on those parts and it looks fine. I figure the tape that holds the clips in place wouldn't be *too* hard to get off of there, but I doubt it would be a good idea on the pebble-grainy parts of the dash.
I have an iphone 13 with an average case, not super thick but not super thin either. I use a popsocket on my phone case but I had to put it kinda way up high next to the cameras so that it would leave the main part of the back of the case open and clear to make good contact / interface with the mount/charger so it would charge. The popsocket is still great, even though it's not in the optimal position.
The phone mount has a really *really* strong silicone suction cup that is like iron (once accidentally ran over a median and it wobbled a little but stayed in place no problem). I mounted it on my windshield way on the left side, and the mount and phone only barely intrude into my windshield view. Most of it is just in front of the column ('A' column?) at the edge of the windshield, so my view is pretty unobstructed. It's easy to reach and it really works well for me. Highly recommended.
It's this one and it's about $60: iOttie Wireless Car Charger Auto Sense Qi Charging Automatic Clamping Dashboard Phone Mount for iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Huawei, LG, Smartphones
Good luck finding a solution that fits your needs, it makes a HUGE difference having a good setup.

I have it mounted to the windshield by the driver's side A-pillar. Been using my phone in that position for years so it's just what I'm used to.
