Is It You, Me, or Adult A.D.D.? Stopping the Roller Coaster When Someone You Love Has Attention Deficit Disorder
The author wrote it based on observations from an ADHD support group they hosted for spouses of people with ADHD. Really good book.
Thanks :) And the same to you. Everyone just wants to be happy eh.
One book that I found helped me to understand ADHD and relationships a lot more was Is It You, Me, or Adult A.D.D.?: Stopping the Roller Coaster When Someone You Love Has Attention Deficit Disorder.
Might be worth a read - for both of you! Not sure how much its helped me yet as I'm not in a relationship. But it made me understand and realise a lot. Before I turn this into an ADHD thread, feel free to message me with any more questions or stuff :)
I suggest you both read "Is It You, Me or Adult ADD". I'm reading it now, and whilst I'm not in a relationship now, it had made me realise a lot of things I would do with my ex. It also makes suggests for strategies to improve things. Talking is important, but at the right time and in the correct way.
The book will cover how your SO feels so you can better understand what is going on. For your SO it might show them what you have to deal with. You need to find solutions together and it will all work out :) Good luck.
